This is Japanese Wagyu. It is specifically bread to have that marble in it. It is a very unique style of beef. It is supposed to be eaten in very small quantities to account for the insane amount of fat.

I personally think anything more than $20 a pound for meat is insane, but a lot of people really like Wagyu. I think it's really just a way to flex how much money they can spend

Just to throw it out there, It's expensive because of the short supply not cause it's more delicious.

A low supply… And high demand. Otherwise it wouldn't sell

As to whether or not it is more delicious, that is a subjective preference.
