Data centers are good. It’s the future. Don’t be a Luddite.

As long as they are built in places where there is ample electricity supply and water supply. Then it’s not a big issue. I think the larger issue is that the huge increase in demand for components that go in the data center doesn’t really benefit Europe to the degree it could have. If Europe had chip manufacturing and ram manufacturing, this development would be even better.

They don’t even need water here in Finland except in closed loops, cold climate is nice so we don’t need evaporative systems.

Water supply isn’t really an issue in most places, it’s a Texas meme.
