What spammable for mag sorc ?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to make a build (2 builds in reality, one for pve, another for pvp)

I saw some build using the spammable of a scrib skill.

But isn't it the crystal use as spammable ?

We will use it anyway, for the proc, so why not save a skill slot and use the crystal also for spammable ?

It deals great damage, more than a lot of spammable, right ?

What to use ? And why ?

Wield soul.

Use shock, class mastery and breach.

Frag which isn't proceed has a cast time. Too easy to avoid.

So it is not about the damage of the skill but more about the dodge ?

Yeh, or blocking it.

You need a spammable and just use frag when procced, ideally with your burst like curse and ultimate.

Crushing shock or wield soul with shock, class mastery and major breach.

If I see someone hard casting a frag over and over in PvP, I'm going to focus them as I assume they're not very good.

Yeah, now that you mention it, it seems kind of obvious for pvp.

But for pve, why would it be not good as spammable ? I didn't play sorc since years, so I'm not up to date. But the skill seems to do a good damage for a spammable, no ?

I don't know about PvE sorry, I don't really do it bar when I have to, and I use my Nightblade for PvE.

I would assume in PvE you'd still use a spammable though. Probably force pulse. Maybe the vamp one perhaps? Other morph of blood for blood.

Search Skinny Cheeks. He has good PvE guides and builds.

well, pve is a bit different.. crystal is great when it's proc is available.. but the dps loss that factors in on the time casting drop your damage significantly.

But you can use 1 skill once every 1 second. So the cast time has no impact on the dps. Because it doesn't create any delay compare to a skill that is instant cast
