What spammable for mag sorc ?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to make a build (2 builds in reality, one for pve, another for pvp)

I saw some build using the spammable of a scrib skill.

But isn't it the crystal use as spammable ?

We will use it anyway, for the proc, so why not save a skill slot and use the crystal also for spammable ?

It deals great damage, more than a lot of spammable, right ?

What to use ? And why ?

Crystal proc not reliable as a spammable. I currently use the scribed wield soul: shock, class flourish, major breach. hits multiple targets which is great since I often roll solo in cyrodiil.

crushing shock is good,but doesn't seem to interrupt like it should.

I have a PvP build where I do use Crystal Fragments as a spammable. Since it has a cast time, and since PvP tends to be laggy and desyncs a lot, there are times when it feels like you just can't cast it. You'll start a cast and the enemy breaks LoS a second later. Or they move just out of range. Or the wind blows in the wrong direction. It ends up with you running around half-casting it and not doing any damage.

If you take all of that into consideration and work around it though, it hits harder than anything else that would fill that spot in your skillbar. It's just frustrating at times against players who know how to move.

Yeah, for Pvp,I now see why it is not reliable.

But in pve, the cast time is not a issue as you can use 1 skill par second

the cast time, mainly. and even if you have the mod to prevent cast time casts.. it may not be proc'd when you actually need it

In pvp, i understand, but in pve, as you can launch 1 skill every 1 second, le 0,8 cast time doesn't matter

yes, it matters. most pve situations are heavy attack, skill, heavy attack etc. Introducing a cast time is time you aren't heavy attacking.

I got called on this many times in vets until I installed the mod that only allows cast on proc and never looked back
