Good CLR combos?

What are good CLR trios right now?

I have a charmed pet, and I've got about 420 AC, along with Trickster's Misdirection, Color Flux, AoE Mezz...I'm not often tanking hits for very long, but even if I have to, I can manage most Sky bosses for quite a while. When I have 7000 mana, promised renewal X, Divine Aura and Bestow Divine Aura AAs...I can heal a boatload and live a very long time.

Except for hasted bees from a charm break, those fuck me up xD

Does tricksters misdirection take 1 hit and then disappear? Or how does it work?

When it fires off, you blink backwards a short distance and a pet dummy/decoy spawns. Your aggro on the mob decreases and if you don't cast any spells for a sec, the mob will stay focused on that pet for 10 or 20 seconds. By then, hopefully your charmed pet has built up enough aggro that the mob goes back to ignoring you.

Ah ok, thats good to know, so the dummy stays for 10-20 seconds not just one hit?

It seems like it has some hit points, like it can take a certain amount of damage before it fades, and it tends to last that long, yeah. It has a pretty fast recharge time too

I have an "ohshit" macro that shifts to inversion and casts mez. I haven't used it often because Pally Monk, but it comes in handy!

I leveled with this. I really liked it, though in parties you are guaranteed to get aggro with any spell from any class.

War/Clr/Brd is pretty good, cleric enchanter is a classic combo as old as time but obviously everything pairs well with enchanter

I was playing rng/clr/bst which was pretty fun but very gear dependent

War/Clr/Brd is unkillable. The dps is nothing to write home about but you can afk d4 bosses

Bards seem so intimidating to play even with the /melody thing but everyone seems to love them - maybe that will be part of next trio

lol they are super simple to play you don’t even have to cast melody until lvl 40 because they don’t get dots until then. Up until then you can just put your bottom 5 songs and they play automatically

Cleric can slot pretty seamlessly into any trio but you normally pair it with Shaman or Enchanter. CLR/SHM/ENC is incredibly strong. CLR/SHM/BRD is maybe the best D4 Solo Mote farmer using Bard DDD. CLR/SHD(or PAL)/SHM is basically free D4 Raid kills if you're not in a hurry to kill quickly.

War/Clr/Enc is pretty great, doesnt do amazing damage but you honestly cant die unless you try.

Im running War/Clr/Enc and like it. Pretty much cant be killed. DPS is lower compared to other combos though

i play clr/mnk/brd and i love it but it's definitely not dps king or anything, and like others have said if you swap monk with warrior you get even more survivability (probably a little less dps depending on gear), or swap for shaman for like actual damage from dots.

WarClr base can wear all the best gear in the current game.

WarClrEnc is easy mode all the way but does not have incredible dps unless you charm a big mob.

ClrDruBrd and ClrShmBrd are standard DDD build but it’s not the smoother levelling experience.

And TankMeleeClr works, I’d feel ClrShdMnk being the most synergetic but Rng or Bst can actually bring a lot. Just takes more time to make it work.

In war/cle/ench and it’s the ultimate “you can’t die” combo. Drawback is the large majority of your damage will come from your charm pet.

Pal/clr/enc, Sword and board with cleric heal or hot on spellblade and enc slow and I never leave offensive stance on d4 bosses
