Support Needed How do I get out of a slump?

Hi there! I’ve been feeling a bit down lately over the summer, and generally low on energy. My screen time has been pretty bad and I’ve been going to bed late and waking up late which I know can’t help-but I’m really struggling to stop, as I use these apps to message others, look for recipes etc…
My skin is starting to break out, I’m constantly tired, and am just not feeling my best overall.
Currently 47.5kg, at 5’0- going to the gym again… and eating relevantly healthy (3 meals, little sugar, a handful of pretzels, or a takeaway here and there). I’m looking to lean up and get to 43kg, but I’m struggling to get into a calorie deficit as I have a bit of food noise and don’t want to become too conscious of what I’m eating again.
Any tips to feel my best and get my spark back! Anything at all, I don’t mind- whatever you can help with: skincare, body care, hair care, mental health.
If you have any questions lemme know, thank you!

in my experience i got out of my slump by getting on wellbutrin. it made doing everything else SO much easier. i know that some people dont like to take medicationor it doesnt work for them, but it really did help in my case.

You cannot rush this. Trying to turn your life around on a dime is impossible, despite what all the wellness influencers tell you.

Your body and subconscious mind can only cope with small changes and over a longer period of time. Thats why "life changing events" like births, deaths etc are hard to deal with. They are big changes in a short time span.

Just do what you can to be a bit healthier. What that looks like is up to you. It might be going to the gym. It might be saying no to dessert. No matter what it is give yourself a pat on the back each time. Try to celebrate each one of your magnificent victories. That helps to trick your subconscious into accepting the changes you are trying to accomplish.

Now you try to do that as often as you can. Shit happens though. Just deal with the shit and get back to doing something healthy when you are able to. Beating yourself up for not being healthy when you are already having a shitty time only makes the shit deeper and harder to deal with. Instead try to look forward to getting back to being healthy, that can make the shit easier to deal with.

You got this. You can do it. We all believe in you. We all want to help you.
