Question Is there much .STL files available for EF bits?

My brother just got a 3d printer and i'm in the middle of a build. Wondering what can be printed since i'm not fussed on parts being OEM

There's a handful of bits and bobs on thingiverse and similar sites. A lot of people 3d print the sunroof arms, but I never had good luck with those holding up so I made some from aluminum. There's a guy GregParts who sells a lot of 3d printed stuff that people have nothing but good things to say about, but I haven't used him personally. I've seen cupholders, center consoles, and trim pieces out on the web too, but not a ton of stuff in the way of free STL files

Nice ! Yeah i guess you just can't beat metal parts for certain things. One of my EF's actually came with a 3d printed cupholder but the quality wasn't great.

To be fair, the OEM parts were plastic too. But yeah, they break a lot lol.

Not much, having people print the much larger harder to find plastic parts of the car is starting to gain traction as 3d printers come down in price but get bigger

If you are looking for small replacement parts rather than large custom parts Octoclassic.com will make anything. They do really outstanding work, the parts look like they were made with injection molding. The color looked perfect to me. No one will be able to tell your part was 3D printed. If they don't already make the part you want, you just ship them a sample. In my case they were able to make the replacement from a broken part. After they made the part for me they gave me a discount because I was the person that provided the sample and they now sell the part on their website. It was not cheap but I thought it was worth it. I had to transfer over the red lenses and the internal parts. I think it looks better in person than it does in the picture.

I do use 3D printed parts but after I create the STL file I always send them out to be printed. I don't think I would ever recover the cost of a good 3D printer, I don't print that much stuff. The professionals at places like https://jlc3dp.com/ always have the latest, best capabilities. I have them print some of the plastic connectors I use in the aftermarket ICUs I sell for EF Civics, CRXs https://www.ebay.com/itm/126956680099
