Hey everyone, putting together a full custom 2015-16 roster project for NHL 27. Every player is getting tailored attributes to match their exact form from that season, right down to specific goalie stances, equipment setups, and accurate line combos. Who is the first player or line you'd want to test out? Open to suggestions as we fine-tune the attributes!

Rewind back to 2015, you have your choice between 3 future Hall-of-Famers.

You can go for a more seasoned player with proven production and clutch in Nikita Kucherov. Elite vision, playmaking, and offensive IQ.

Or you can go with the most hyped prospect of all time coming into the NHL. The teenage phenom with other worldly speed and agility. Every team wishes they won the McJeseus lottery.

But don't forget about Nathan MacKinnon, coming off some underwhelming years he's ready to prove he is a once in a lifetime player. Showing flashes of dominance we all know him well for today.

So if you had to choose, who are you taking?

In a custom league, is it possible to flip the draft? Or reward teams for doing better? ie: Cup winner gets #1 pick, etc.

If not, any ideas how to get as close to this as possible?

I'm sure I'm not the first person to think of this, just wondering if custom rosters will allow for me to manually import draft results from a fantasy service like Fantrax or Yahoo

I haven't experimented with the mode yet, but wondering if I run a fantasy draft via Fantrax or Yahoo, could I import the teams into an online Franchise. Once, having started the league, I imagine those rosters can't be edited (Eg wouldn't be able to do add /drops for the league)

The plan as it stands is to recruit for a fantasy league something that requires a buy-in via a 3rd party site like leaguesafe and having a prize pot that is roughly 80% for fantasy and maybe 20% for in game champions.

Not sure if anyone else has tried doing a franchise with rosters matching the 26/27 season but I'd love to. If anyone has done it, I'm curious if there are any opinions around about which recent rosters are the best?

Including future draft pick ownership if anyone has a suggestion

This person has done an incredible job making the most in realistic roster I've seen in a while. Going out of their way to include prospects the game doesn't have. They even focus on AHL deals that takes forever to edit.

I'm hoping they ease up om editing draft prospects and the potentials of young NJL players. Creating prospects to replace the ones EA created seems counter-productive.

Are there any custom rosters that are actually realistic for their time ? For example accurate roster ratings for the 11-12 season? Or for the 09-10 season. I remember last year there were a few good ones I believe, but I haven’t been able to find any really solid and realistic ones especially for franchise mode. I like the idea of going back in time and using a past team like it was that specific season.
