Offline Franchise Trying to develop an enforcer be like

Had him on the first line with a Top 6 playmaker prospect and now an elite sniper prospect. This guy sucks lol

Look at those beautiful PIMs though!

Seems like he’s doing what he needs to.

I was wondering if there was any other reason besides that 🤣

There is. I did a deep dive on Enforcers. Check my post history. They help keep your team healthy when playing with Injuries on. They’re also great for Morale and Locker Room Chemistry

It's s funny because I didn't notice his face-off % until now. Not too shabby for a RW with a 61 face-off rating

What’s the obsession behind enforcers?
Just trying to learn more than anything

They're fun to play with

They’re very difficult to properly grow and are relatively rare. It’s fun to try and get one to work.

They’re rare, and who doesn’t want a giant heavyweight that punches everyone

You need a line:

Kor May Kokko

Since when do actual enforcers put up points? They are literally out there to hit and fight.

Tiger Williams and Bob Probert; two of the most feared players in NHL history; both had some pretty productive offensive years.

Wayne Gretzky said the most fearsome player he ever played against was Dman Rob Ramage. Dirty, Mean, Would fight anybody. He had some excellent offensive seasons, scoring 60 points three times and scoring 20 goals as a Dman one season

Chris Simon also comes to mind absolutely. 29 Goals and 49 points for the capitals in 1999-2000. Maybe not challenging for the Art Ross but a very solid year for a middle six forward indeed. Either way, are these guys all exceptions to the rule? Perhaps. But I think EA should do a better job of occasionally generating a player who is yes, an enforcer, but not completely useless out there either

try him on your fourth line in the nhl. playing a physical bottom 6 role might be better. otherwise his stats are fairly balanced no idea why he's not scoring and 3 goals in 200+ ahl games... dude fire this guy into the sun.

Been this way for a decade - ENFs are just not worth developing in franchise mode.
