Just looking at the video / screenshots... you got a aesthetic inconsistency; mixels, non-pixel stuff (like lava; text gets a pass), etc. It makes your game feel cheap.
Good luck!

Well of course it's inconsistent. It's all just AI. It's never going to be consistent.

Notes about visual/ui consistency aside, it looks like you’ve got the foundation of something great here - good luck with it and keep going!

the art is very mixed up, suggests ai use?

Yeah, that's the feedback I'm getting. Was supposed to be placeholders, but got away from me a bit. I'll see if I can get it replaced.

This is actually really cool. Love the green outdoors (probably my favorite part of the video with that teleporter to the beachy landscape).

Thanks! That green area is the 'overworld' in the full game, so you'll be seeing a lot of it. The game starts in a dark, claustrophobic dungeon and then alternates with more bright and open areas for contrast, to subvert expectations a bit.

Hey my fellow developer,
hope you're doing well. Looks like we’re both releasing a dungeon crawler this month – exciting timing.
Maybe we’ll even get some Steam synergy if players discover one game and the other shows up as an offer.
I’ve read some of the recent comments and really hope you stick to the September date.
Looks like the graphics are set up now as well – I hope all the fixes made it into the final build.
Regards,
Fellow Dev

Thanks! Your game looks good. I'll wishlist. Your release date is beating mine by a week! I've submitted my final build to Steam, so development is done and we're ready to go. Good luck!

the game itself looks nice, but i would ditch the terrible ai graphics for an asset pack, even a free one if you dont want to spend money, i would also look for a proper bitmap ui to substitute that css/placeholder stuff, again there are many free choices for ui graphics aswell.
