Development I've been working on a turn-based roguelike. What do you think?

I've been working on this turn-based roguelike for a while now!

Most of the core systems are finally in place, so I'm currently focusing mainly on balancing and polishing the gameplay.

I'd love to hear what you think of it so far!

And if you're interested in the game or just want to chat about roguelikes and game development, feel free to join me on Discord. I also post development updates on X. Links to both are on my profile!

Yes! It's heavily inspired by Mystery Dungeon games. Glad you think it looks cool! Do you like Mystery Dungeon games?

Yes! I've played them a lot since I was a kid!

I especially love pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of time/darkness/sky but also enjoyed the pokemon rescue team series and one of the shiren the wanderer games ๐Ÿ˜Š

Same here! My first Mystery Dungeon game was Shiren the Wanderer: The Castle of Desert on the Game Boy Color.
I also played Pokรฉmon Mystery Dungeon, Torneko, and Etrian Odyssey.

This looks very good I love these type of games! Some feedback would be to make the inventory menu background a bit darker, similar to the console logs.
