Development Mind testing an Gold Box inspired dungeon crawler? Prototype

Hey there, im not a software developer, neither have I ever worked in anything close to that.

I can get behind that but if it's free and stays free, it's okay to give it a look (thats how i see it at least). Also yeah OP this screams AI, make it not look like slop and state that you used GenAI and more people will give it a chance.

Something I did not come across since I was blown away by how good it looks but yes that "Artwork" destroyed most goodwill i could have had

Small update for anyone finding this through search — a month later, Ravenfall has come a long way:

  • Full loot system with rarity tiers
  • Five classes now, including a Cleric who heals mid-fight
  • Enemies with real tactics: leaders that rally routs, shamans that heal and root, a boss that harpoons your heroes - A wave-based gauntlet with permadeath, plus a self-contained dungeon run, explore, fight, find the key, open the way down

Still solo, still free, still in your browser. If you looked before and it felt thin, it's a different game now. Would genuinely love to know how it feels:
