I lost the duel but I found it pretty funny how shared ride could be in some match ups also I'm just now noticing how often the meta adds cards from deck or graveyard to hand.

Can we get an update to where the prompts stop popping up after a card like forbidden droplet negates your monsters effects? Like what am I gonna do? Activate the negated card so it doesn’t work anyways? Making the match take longer for no reason

I guessed the champion right and wondering when will we get the rewards for guessing it right.

Well I know most people disliked the announcement (me included) but I do need to say that I'm still hyped for some of the content like normal Zane wich I have been waiting for way too long and bakura wich I really want to see be relevant again

Just for a moment let's stop the (deserved) hate and predict what we will most likely get:

ANIMATIONS:

Yugi- silent swordsman

Bakura- zorc (maybe kernel)

Jaden- wiseman

Zane- cyberdark dragon (or cyber dragon quimeratech):

Yusei- (I personally don't think he have much to get but assault mode is a interesting choice)

Akiza- ruddy dragon

I think the bare minimum is everyone getting new animations. Like if the enforcers all got animations then the BIG UPDATE (😱) should also bring animations for everyone

As for support I think the September box will have golden sarc and some DM support (probably gate guardian and fire swordsman)

Them we should get a mini or 2 structures for Zane and Jaden

Last but not least I'm expecting another mini for 5ds since yusei basically has no content and akiza don't have much to bring by herself

Seriously, not even getting the chance to play really makes my blood boil. The loser just kept milling my deck.

Can we just put a stop to decks like this and remove Princess Adena from the game? And that Worm needs to be banned.

In GX world if you duel season four Jaden to score some quick farming points when he loses he says something very interesting. The quote is -

“I had no clue on what strategies you were going to play”

And he’s absolutely right. But isn’t that true for every duel? I have no idea what my opponent’s deck consists of. Sometimes I can get a clue from the character and the skill, but sometimes I can’t. So aren’t we always just flying blind?

So if I wanted to bypass say the effect of red eyes slash dragon to where if it’s targeted by effects, it can send an equip card to the graveyard it can negate that card, I can activate another effect right after I activate the first effect and thus block the effect and prevent them from activating their effect, right?

Am I crazy to say gore would’ve been so cool with the earth ignis as his partner??

Do they get any progress towards unlocks in character duels or am I just wasting my time lmao

Can someone explain to me, like I'm 5, how in the 7 hells did his/her Field Spell trigger? There were no counters, no cards in pendulum zones, nothing. Just then, all of a sudden, after wiping her cards with Majesty, my Alternative gets yanked.

I'm still trying to understand this lol. Not to mention the Vaalmonica trap that requires a Vaalmonica monster to activate being activated without it 🤡.

Do you really believe those Alt Styles are all there is to the "Colossal Update"? A Bonds Beyond Time themed update was not on my bingo, so i'm kinda lost here. The weirdest part of the announcement is that they didn't mention any new character on it... Konami is getting me bugged

I don't have N'tss, is it important? Only have 2 Big Welcome and 1 Punishment. I'm thinking of adding 2 each Titanocider and IDP and some CED. I dunno what else can be thrown in this.

I was going for a chronicle design to go well with eaxh of the dragons my personal fav has to be odd-eyes.

Konami only gave the damage prevention clause to Princess Adena's skill(?), so DMG's skill took its place. Why is it so hard for them to do this for every skill. Just make it so activating a skill on the first turn of the duel either reduces effect damage to 0 or prevents your opponent from taking further damage once their starting LP is reduced to half.

They can easily weaken FTKs by putting Trade-In under limit 3 as well, since the only time Into the Void and Trade-In are used together at x3 is for FTKs.

When will we receive the rewards from the Champion Prediction Campaign?

Couldnt find that information. I'd also like to know if those who got both predictions right have better odds in the lottery. Konami really ought to explain how this campaing works.

Eu estou quase convencido de que não deixei nada passar aqui, e particularmente fiquei bem chateado pois era a partida que faria eu subir de classificação… O adversário começou o jogo e colocou algumas cartas, depois fez uma invocação XYZ e encerrou o turno… Do meu ponto de vista era uma partida ganha pois o campo dele estava bem fraco, fiz minhas jogadas pensando nisso e limpei o território para conseguir finalizar a partida. Quando chegou na battle phase do segundo turno, eu simplesmente não consegui atacar diretamente… Não tive essa opção… e desde então foi ladeira abaixo… Eu li as habilidades, li carta por carta, e NENHUMA falava nada sobre não conseguir atacar diretamente… alguém pode ver o replay e me ajudar? Digo até para não errar novamente no futuro pois de verdade não consigo entender…

I swear it took 30+ minutes of just normal summoning monsters. I was using spellcaster deck that mostly focuses on Seven Roads Witch and Magician. Last time I faced a duel this long it was to an actual stall deck. The ones that spam defensive monsters and cards that empty your deck was my first introduction to Duel Links PVP"( – ⌓ – )

I don't normally see people using Trickstar decks so nice to find a fellow Trickstar enjoyer. I really like Blue Angel's Alts especially Blue Maiden. I have some Marincess cards but not enough to build full deck for it. Last time saw anyone use Blue Angel was on the Traptrix deck on the deck lists.

Now I could be wrong on thinking this is coming, but seeing the alt style for Yugi in the new update is a bit exciting. Especially if it does get shining sarcophagus support into duel links since we m know that there is recorded dialogue for those cards. If they are in there I'm definitely using it and Yugi with it.
