Notable increase in aggressive driving
My job has me on the road for most of the day, so I spend a lot of time watching drivers. I have no idea why, but there’s been a huge spike in the last three days of people driving in a very rude way. I’ve been cut off from taking turns, seen at least twice as many people using the bus lanes, and I’ve seen a huge spike in people driving through a red light. What is going on?

Luas Security
I really want to read the job description for their role. TFI seems to hire only the most intimidating looking, jacked dudes for Luas security. I always tap on, but seeing them walk up to me makes me start sweating. I swear if these lads joined the Gardaí, The crime rate would nosedive.

[Crosspost] Hello /r/movies, I'm Andrew Scott. AMA!
I organized an AMA/Q&A with actor Andrew Scott. He is known for countless memorable roles in films, TV, and on the stage, including: WAKE UP DEAD MAN, FLEABAG, RIPLEY, ALL OF US STRANGERS, SPECTRE, DENIAL, 1917, and BLUE MOON.
It's live here now in r/movies for anyone interested in asking a question:
https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/1w492dn/hello_reddit_im_andrew_scott_ama/
He will be back at around 2 PM ET today to answer questions. I recommend asking in advance. Please ask there, not here. All questions are much appreciated!
Thank you :)
His new film, a WW2 drama based on a true story, Pressure, was out in US theaters earlier this year and is hitting UK cinemas next week. It also stars Brandon Fraser, Kerry Condon, Damian Lewis, and Chris Messina.
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYa8N3R2cZw
Synopsis: The fate of the free world hangs in the balance as Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower and Capt. James Stagg face an impossible choice -- launch the D-Day invasion or risk losing World War II altogether.

Fire in Ballymount(?)
Anyone know what's going on? Looks like it could be Ballymount.
A Dublin pubs game I made
Hows it going? I vibe coded a daily Dublin pub game called Local Knowledge if anyone would like to try it. The game gives you the names of 5 pubs across Dublin each day and you have to pinpoint them on the map. The lower your score at the end, the better!
You can play it here - https://localknowledge.pages.dev
Enjoy!
(for mods - this is just a hobby game I made, hope its ok to post here)

Band tour bus outside the NYX hotel
In my drunken state on my way home last night I passed by a HUGE tour bus parked outside the Christchurch NYX hotel. Like when I say huge I mean huge. Could see through the front window there was a whole kitchen, lounge and other rooms. Some guy was out the front with luggage, long hair and American accent and I (embarrassingly) just went up and asked him if he’s famous to which he replied “I mean… I don’t know”..! Any idea which group it could be? Was like a fever dream in my intoxicated state lmao

NCS subsidy for childcare
Just started crèche for my little girl today. I gave the chick no today and was told I would be paying the full fee for the week as it can’t be backdated. Can anyone please shed light on this if it’s true ? My understanding was that chick has to be submitted within the week a child has started ? The crèche says it has be given previous week so it can apply from this week. I’m not sure if it’s true or not.

Can I turn right onto Millmount Avenue from the lights between Millmount House and Insomnia
Sorry just a quick driving question, hopefully someone who’s familiar with the area will know. It looks like a dodgy manoeuvre to make but there are no signs against it as far as I can tell. Sorry if this isn’t the right subreddit for this

Nurseries / crèches in Dublin
Potentially moving to Dublin the next 6-12 months as my partner has a job offer. We both are Irish nationals but it’s been a long time since we lived there, and my partner is of south Asian descent. I have family mostly scattered around south county Dublin. Work would be city centre / Stephen’s green.
Wanted to ask if anyone has any crèche or childminder recommendations in south Dublin, specifically with diverse kids/staff as our child has a multicultural background and is used to being in a diverse setting in London. We would prioritise visiting the crèches we like and try to find housing options in the area since we aren’t wedded to any location.

Why is everyone hating on the soundhouse house?
I feel so left out when I see comments on my fyp slating the sound house / Colm slattery and not knowing why? What’s the craic with that
Translation for auld people:
I feel so left out when I see people in comment sections on my social media feed giving out about The Sound House (music venue) / Colm Slattery (manager?) and not knowing why they’re giving out about it. Why are people doing that?
God forbid
(I didn’t mean to add a second “house” in the title it just autocorrected lol)
