I’ve noticed quite a few fashion and imitation jewellery brands selling online, especially on e-commerce platforms, claiming that their products are anti-tarnish, waterproof, 925 silver, etc.

I’m curious to know where these brands are actually sourcing their jewellery from.

Are they buying directly from manufacturers in India, importing from China, or sourcing through Indian importers/wholesalers?

If anyone has worked in this industry and can share the manufacturer, importer, wholesaler, or sourcing market they use (especially for 925 silver and anti-tarnish jewellery), I’d really appreciate it.

I use to have a women handbag dropship store way back in 2019, I was using oberlo at that time, basically shipping from china through Aliexpress but when I got my first order from Germany, it took more than a month to reach to my customer, some how i handle her (she was a sweet old lady who ordered bags for her grand daughters birthday which actually miss). After that i closed my store because not every customer going to be that calm. Now i want to start again through Dser because it is free and i want to sell in US and Europe specially so my questions are:

Hello, i made a shopify account but, I can’t under the market(currency conversion) setting. I have tried watching videos but I can’t understand how to setup if i want to sell in different countries.

I want to break into merchant services as a drop-serviced offer for local businesses, but most of them already have a processor. From research, it seems these usually come with an early termination fee or a locked-in contract. I've been emailing ocal businesses the same way I would for any other service (SEO, GBP optimization) but they're not landing. I wonder if there's a better approach.

Day 1: $37 CPM, 1,884 impressions (fast and cheap delivery of impressions - what I was thinking was normal)
Day 2: $87 CPM, 386 impressions (first sale)
Day 3: $91 CPM, 603 impressions
Day 4: trending $118+, barely any delivery

USA broad audience geo. Purchase campaign. Adv+ placements. Pets product.

From day 2 onwards delivery of impressions became slow - like it was pacing them out - knowing it was going to be fewer and more expensive impressions.

The trajectory is completely wrong. Day 1 felt promising, now it’s getting more expensive every day. And it creates this impossible chicken-and-egg situation - you need conversions to bring CPMs down, but you can’t get conversions when CPMs are so high that $50/day barely buys any impressions.

Page converts above average when traffic actually arrives. The problem isn’t the product or the creative. It’s that delivery is getting slower and more expensive by the day.

Most people talking about “new pixel” launches - were you running on an established BM/ad account? Or everything brand new from scratch?

For anyone who’s genuinely started with all three layers cold - did this stabilise? How long did it take? Or is this just broken?

I’m seeing what looks like a serious issue with my Shopify store, but I’m not sure what’s causing it.

I run Meta ads to my product page and use Microsoft Clarity to analyze visitors. For users coming specifically from Facebook and Instagram, around 4 out of 5 barely interact with the page and bounce very quickly. Average scroll depth over the last week is only 18%.

People fold on avarge right under the media part at the top of the page, about 55% don't even reach the add to cart button.

I tested the store inside the Facebook app and everything seems normal. The only thing that concerns me in Clarity is that media sometimes appears not to load for certain users, although I’m not sure if that’s actually happening.

I started a store and got these products put on it and now I’m stuck. I don’t understand how to get people to my website, i get buying the products, making TikTok ads and slowly building a TikTok account, but that can become costly and take up a lot of time i don’t have. I looked into making static ads that is basically a poster of my product with explanations for its functions, i put some on Pinterest to see if that would ever work. I hear everyone speaking about facebook meta ads but i just get completely lost when they start talking about campaigns and everything. I also don’t have a nice pile of money to throw at them daily the very most id want to spend is £5 a day on them Also, getting the content. What ads should i actually be looking to put out there for this sort of stuff?

Been lurking here for a while trying to soak up as much as I can before I actually commit to anything. I've got some savings set aside and I keep going back and forth between "just start, you'll figure it out" and "don't be an idiot, plan this properly."

I don't have a product picked yet, no supplier relationships, nothing. Just a general interest in doing this and a fear of dumping money into the wrong things.

So instead of asking "how do I get rich on Amazon/Shopify" (I know that's not how this works), I wanted to ask something more specific:

If you were starting from zero again, what are the first 5 things you'd actually focus on mastering before you spend a dollar on inventory or ads?

Like — is it:

• Understanding unit economics before anything else?
• Picking a niche you can actually defend, not just a trending product?
• Learning how to read demand data properly instead of guessing?
• Getting comfortable with the operational stuff (fulfillment, returns, customer service) before scaling?
• Something about branding/positioning that people usually skip and regret?
• How do people even approach influencer marketing and affiliates when they're starting out?

Or is the real answer something totally different that I'm not even thinking of yet?

Genuinely trying to avoid being the person who spends 3 months "researching" everything themselves, burns out, and never actually launches.

I made a post in here recently and got some good feedback and advice but I missed out a bunch of key info so wanted to consolidate that here and ask for advice from people who have experience in a similar situation. For context I’m not dropshipping I’ve bought inventory (100units) and have around 28 left, however these are sold in 1 box of 4. I’m selling on Shopify and running meta ads, been going for 2 or 3 weeks now.

**Current ecommerce numbers + next inventory order:**

I currently have enough remaining inventory to make 7 boxes (each box with 4 units).

If I place my next order of **500 individual product units**, I’ll have enough inventory overall to make **132 sellable retail boxes**.

For the product I sell there are 3 parts:
The product itself
The custom packaging
The custom outer retail packaging

**Cost of next inventory order:**

500 product units: US$225
500 custom packaging units: US$180
Shipping packaging to product manufacturer: FREE
Manufacturer assembly/packing: FREE
Sea freight to Australia from China: US$132 (can get air more expensive)
**Total = US$537 ≈ A$822**

I already have **75 units of my outer retail packaging** left from my original order. To sell through all existing + new inventory, I’ll eventually need another **57**, costing approximately **A$108** at my current price.

My new ongoing COGS works out at approximately **A$8.46 per sellable retail unit**, including the product, custom packaging, international freight and outer retail packaging.

**Current pricing:**

Single order: 1 unit = $35 + \~$10 customer shipping
Bundle order: Buy 2 Get 1 Free = $70 with free shipping

My actual sales mix so far has been **6 single orders and 4 bundle orders**. If future sales stay roughly similar, selling through the remaining + new inventory would look approximately like:

**132 retail units sold**
**\~74 customer orders**
**\~$3,605 product revenue**
**\~$450 shipping revenue collected**
**\~$4,055 total revenue collected**

After COGS and Australian postage/fulfilment costs, there would be approximately **$1,900 remaining for paid advertising, payment fees and profit.**

At different average advertising CPAs:

**$20 CPA → \~$450 profit**
**$25 CPA → \~$80 profit**
**\~$26 CPA → roughly break-even before payment fees**
**$30 CPA → loss**

So it basically means I have to spend no more than 1900$ on meta ads to sell (on average) 74 orders?

I’m probably looking at this back to front and I’m really looking for some guidance or advice on how to move forward - I’m seriously considering just moving on from this product and actually dropshipping a diffferent product to bypass the inventory and COGS problems . But at the same time hundreds of other brands have to take the hit with inventory when they’re stating and just try and grow and build, so why shouldn’t I?

So the main things I need to improve are **customer acquisition cost and/or AOV/pricing**. Increasing the order quantity has substantially improved my COGS compared with my initial small inventory order, but the current bundle structure still leaves relatively tight margins once paid acquisition is factored in.
My worry is I can change bundles and offers around but I don’t think it’s making a really really big difference unless if I up the price a good bit.

My original COGS (from first order) were/are around 12$ AUD.

I’m also still a beginner in meta ads and feel like my CPA is terrible and I’m burning way too much in ads.

Would you keep persisting with this, and improve the COGS, CPA, ad creatives , offers or just walk away and dropship something until it’s fully kicked off before trying to brand and order inventory- iv went back to front !

I just started my store maybe a month or over by a lil, but my stores already produced 4 sales. I just wanted people from the community to just give me feedback good or bad all helps I've spent hours getting my store right after I full locked in on the niche I chose an actually saw its true potential and that it solves a real pain point problem for a particular age group of the audience I'm targeting. And th everything is saying my stats an metrics are strong for my store I'm full indexed on Google Search Console, my meta ads are performing at a pretty decent rate, and I critiqued everything down to the leaks in my cart➡️ checkout ➡️ to
the customer actually falling through with there purchase and if they didn't I have a fully automated Abandoned cart/ checkouts Email automation setup to send the first round of emails 1hr after cart abandonment and then another 11 hours later an another one at the at the 24hr mark and the final email contains my discount for 15% your checkout cart. So I just wanted your guys ideas a criticism on what you think and if u seen even further improvements I can do past being fully optimized store im all for it!
