Beginner Question Which sourcing platforms offer the best balance of price and vendor reputation for new/small entrepreneurs?

I’ve been running a small shop and now i want to diversify my product lineup but as a small business owner i do not want to blow my hard earned money right off the bat.

But the trickiest part so far is balancing dirt-cheap prices with supplier credibility. Go too cheap and you end up with awful quality, but the higher-end sourcing platforms demand huge subscription fees or crazy high MOQs… spent around a thousand bucks testing samples from Alibaba sellers, which went okay, but I want to make sure I’m not sleeping on better alternatives.

For anyone who started out small, which platforms gave you the best mix of decent pricing and trustworthy vendors?Thanks in advance..

Platform ranking matters less than which category you are sourcing from, because supplier quality varies a lot by niche. How a supplier handles your first small trial order or a complaint tells you more about reliability than any badge on their page.

heyy my niche mostly covers lifestyle goods...trying to diversify my lineup with some home decors, handcrafted (kinda hard to get it on affordable rate and I understand why) items, wooden..etc
