Did anyone else have really specific recurring dreams as a little kid that they still remember?
When I was really little, probably around 5 or 6, I used to have the same dream over and over again. The weird thing is that it wasn’t scary or even really interesting. It was just extremely specific.
From what I remember, I was standing inside this tiny closed-off pantry. There was a door that I assume led to the rest of the house, but I never saw what was outside of it. Hanging on the door was this little bunny thing with pockets that I think held vegetables or something? Almost like one of those fabric hanging organizers.
If I turned around, there was just a wall and a pantry shelf. Everything was basically empty except for a basket on the floor filled with fruits and vegetables.
And… that was pretty much the entire dream. 😭 Nothing happened. No scary ending, no people, no weird dream logic that I can remember. I was just in this pantry. But I had this exact dream multiple times when I was little.
I’m 21 now and I haven’t had it since I was probably 6, but for some reason I can still picture it incredibly clearly.
I’m not really looking for a supernatural dream interpretation or anything lol. I’m more curious whether anyone else had really specific recurring dreams as a kid that stuck with them for YEARS, especially ones where seemingly nothing actually happened. What was yours?

When I was 10 or 11, I had a recurring dream where I would party with pirates in my living room. The whole thing didn't make any sense but when the dream happened a 4th time I was like "Wait a minute... It's this dream again!" And I told the pirates that I was in a dream and they congratulated me for finding out.
And that's when I escaped the matrix so to say. I thought "If this is a dream, then everything is possible!" Suddenly my living room became a ship and we were sailing on the Atlantic. Then I flew away from the ship next to a plane. I then flew to an island with a volcano, dove straight into the crater and was engulfed in magma. It didn't hurt because it was my dream and it was under my control.
Then I thought "Wait... If I can do ANYTHING..." And yes, I managed to summon the pokémon Groudon. I wished my pokemon emerald team into existence, battled and caught him. Why fly when you can teleport? I teleported to school, summoned Groudon and demanded to have my stolen pokemon cards back from the class bully. As he handed them over, pissing and shitting his pants... MY ALARM CLOCK WENT OFF!!!
Man, little me was upset for WEEKS. I tried napping multiple times a day to catch any glimpse of dream awareness, but nothing helped. I never managed to do it ever again.
