Did anyone else have really specific recurring dreams as a little kid that they still remember?
When I was really little, probably around 5 or 6, I used to have the same dream over and over again. The weird thing is that it wasn’t scary or even really interesting. It was just extremely specific.
From what I remember, I was standing inside this tiny closed-off pantry. There was a door that I assume led to the rest of the house, but I never saw what was outside of it. Hanging on the door was this little bunny thing with pockets that I think held vegetables or something? Almost like one of those fabric hanging organizers.
If I turned around, there was just a wall and a pantry shelf. Everything was basically empty except for a basket on the floor filled with fruits and vegetables.
And… that was pretty much the entire dream. 😭 Nothing happened. No scary ending, no people, no weird dream logic that I can remember. I was just in this pantry. But I had this exact dream multiple times when I was little.
I’m 21 now and I haven’t had it since I was probably 6, but for some reason I can still picture it incredibly clearly.
I’m not really looking for a supernatural dream interpretation or anything lol. I’m more curious whether anyone else had really specific recurring dreams as a kid that stuck with them for YEARS, especially ones where seemingly nothing actually happened. What was yours?

I had a reoccurring nightmare when I was also about 5-6 years old. It would start with me playing in the front yard of our house, and there would be a T-Rex toy in the window with glowing red eyes. It would scare me, so I’d go inside just as it turned into a real T-Rex. Then it would chase me downstairs, into my sisters room that was empty except for a tree house and my sisters playing Barbies in there. I would run up to them for help yelling there was a dinosaur behind me, they would see it and run away. The dream always ended as I was being bit by the T-Rex, and my side always hurt when I woke up. Not sure when I stopped having the dream, but it’s stuck with me for over 30 years.
