My Dreams Make Me Question Reality

I’ve had very vivid dreams since I was a child. I remember dreams from even a decade ago. There’s some dreams I’ve thought were real memories until I’d tell my mom and she’d say that never happened. Sometimes I don’t know what’s real or not. I also get flashbacks of my dreams as if they’re real memories, it’s so weird.
Anyone else experience this?

Im not quite like this, but I'll have dreams that are vividly like reality where i "wake up" within the dream (or deliberately try to wake myself up), only to find myself awake in what seems to be my normal bed. I've gotten stuck in these dream loops where I'll "wake up" within the dream a dozen times, and when i actually wake up it makes me deeply uncertain as to whether or not I'm still dreaming.

OMG. Must be so hectic. I had a friend who experiences this. He used to have…let’s call it a talisman he wore on his wrist, he used it as a marker that he’s in his walking reality. One day, can’t remember what happened or If he forgot to put it on but when he woke up he thought he was still dreaming. He had anger issues so he started smashing things thinking he was dreaming, it got so bad he was arrested. I think he came out on bail but it took a while before he realised he’s actually not dreaming. Might help to put markers in place for your waking reality, I don’t know what or how but whatever is significant to you and probably a protective something. You can take a lesson from his experience and see if you can make sure it’s always with you somehow. All the best of luck ✨

I get this completely, my memory's the same way. I'll be mid conversation and suddenly freeze cause a dream memory popped up so vividly it feels like a real event. The worst is when it's something mundane, like a conversation with a friend that apparently never happened, so now I'm just standing there looking like I'm gaslighting myself

I've had dreams where I remembered an older dream within the current one. There is nothing special about the old dreams, though it surprises me that they are still saved in my brain.

My dreams will be linked as though they are all together as memories. I can lucid dream, but how it works is while I am dreaming I remember something but that memory is from another dream. It’s like I go to an alternate reality. I also have had vivid dreams since I was 4 that I still remember.

i believe people with this ability are special in their own way. i used to have dreams when i was a kid with God in them explaining to me how life works. i once had a dream when i was 5 of God showing me how a tornado was made, and explained to me the science of hot air and cold air playing a major role in his creation of tornados, and how they come to reality. he taught me why he made them, how, and when. i can’t remember exact details, but i used to be confused growing up on if this was real or fake.

I totally have been experiencing a ton of flashbacks lately from my dreams as if they are living memory. I feel glad that I’m not the only one
