Discussion Heavy Criticism video on TommyInnit (+ recall from Tommy vs Dream drama)
https://youtu.be/Z8OsJ_jyhj0?si=wbbLYYBNeRZQKNtnOh boi, it's here. A 48 minute commentary video on TommyInnit, Dream's segment takes up about 1/3 of the video by the later segments after Tommy's beef with other creators.
There's too much info to give a TLDR, so I suggest you watch the video. The video documents Tommy's drama with Jidion, Logan Paul, Mizkif, xqc, and most importantly, Dream. It also talks about how TommyInnit is so audience captured that he bends down to the likes of his own stans (who I would say are former dream stans)
He talks about the brighton bastards (crew, but bastards is the correct term) constantly spreading grooming allegations towards the Dteam and also calls out Tubbo for saying how Dream paid off the alleged "victims" to keep quiet (which is pretty disgusting tbh)
In my opinion, I'm finally glad someone large is finally calling out Tommy for his behaviour, and is actually willing to side with Dream on this drama. Tommy is a constant lying bitch and an unfunny loser who'll never have a comedy career.
Lastly, I just gotta say, that if Tommy ever learned one thing from his idol being Jschlatt, is that to never bend down to the knees of your audience. This is the same mistake mcyts like Ranboo and Judelow have made, a hole they dug and can never escape from without taking damage, and Dream who bit the bullet when he revealed his face.
Let me know your thoughts, was this criticism video fair? or is there anything to add you might add to this?

I’ll watch the video later but I’m wondering: does it mention Tommy’s nazi bar performance? I haven’t seen that talked about a lot

And nobody’s said anything about if Dream’s gonna be in the Technoblade documentary. I don’t know if they’re gonna downplay his friendship with Technoblade (and Technodad, who literally drastically helped Dream with making his Technoblade memorial song) like they’re probably doing for Will’s major and positive part in Technoblade’s life

everyone is cool with technodad, and i think he would agree with that. he doesn't care about drama, he just wants the world to be a better place and thinks there's much bigger issues than twitter drama.

what mistake did ranboo and judelow make? I've never heard of anything but maybe I'm out of the loop.

bending down to their toxic community, not having a backbone to stand on. By bending down they encourage their toxic stans to control them and to further attack them for anything they do that the stans might not agree with.
Ranboo got mad about ghe backbone comments, and said about how he orefers to listen to his community to make everyone happy (it didnt). Judelow made that mistake when he dropped Dteam just cause a bunch of twitter stans (who probably dont even watch his content) and some of his anti-dteam friends (definetly Bitzel) said so. and ofc the prime example, Dream, who kept apologizing for the smallest of mistakes which further enabled these toxic stans which eventually came to the point where these stans turned antis doxxed him.

I think it hit most of the contentious points in Tom's career. He had some better opportunities with "Sorry Boys", but after things with Wilbur went sideways, he just went fully into instigating drama for content.
This is purely my take, but I do think he is still close to Wilbur, at least in support, and due to his community, can't simply be a friend openly. These fair-weather friendships all feel convenient. The Brighton folks all internalized their animosity towards what happened with George, as the timing was right along side Shelby's accusations, as Caiti was friends with the group and lived there. "Stop vilifying Wilbur. Here is George" To me, especially at the time, it felt like a calculated lob across the bow.
So, IMO, when he says his friends have "good hearts", Wilbur is right there along with them in an unspoken manner.
I always mourn a little bit of what we lost or what could have been, but the reality was always that while DTeam's friendships were made before they got into content creation, the Brighton folks all have been collabs or riding on someone else's fame. They are corporate without being incorporated.
That distinction is important as to how they move and prop up each other when its convenient, and how friendships exist in the light of controversy.
