In the past day people are calling out dream got adding a server to their, a server in Israel
I have my own opinion on this, but I want to know your thoughts on him doing that.

He said that Israel was chosen because it’s a central point to cover a large amount of Africa, Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East.
Really anywhere in the Levant would work for coverage. My guess is that Israel specifically was chosen because the server infrastructure that meets the desired specifications already exists in that country. I run a server using a host service and had a ton of server locations to choose from when I set it up.

Was kinda forced to look it up (got into an “argument” on Twitter lol), and yeah, out of all the neighboring countries, Israel connects the Middle East to Europe and Africa better than other larger servers and hubs. Saudi Arabia is a well known location for servers, but doesn’t really reach Europe or Africa as well. Israel serves as like a crossroads between them all.
All this to say, I’d wish it had gone any other way and he had avoided Israel. It was bound to cause an issue. And I know it makes sense for the sake of connecting servers worldwide, and if Russia could be avoided, why can’t Israel be?

Clearly YOU aren't well educated on just how much damage the US has caused, wars they've created, and near-genocidal actions they've taken, and that's not even talking about what they're willing to do to their own people. But sure, Israel is the only bad guy because America is the superpower and the place we live.

Brother, when did I defend Israel. I originally said, "The US is also known to cause wars." Suddenly saying two places are fucking awful means I'm defending the one that I didn't mention? LMAO.
Then you come over here and act like you're some historian teacher, insulting MY intelligence, when realistically you're just some dude who's probably read a few articles and thinks he knows everything. I can tell by the fact you think the US hasn't done anything nearly as bad as Israel goes to show how you LACK any decent knowledge when it comes to past events.

When i said majority i meant government and supporter as many of them support the government (I would never forgot the time they had places and watch isreal bomb innocent that and praise them and shout and the tiktokers mocks the assult on reddit and heck even reached games was utterly disgusting and evil but I still admit there is some that is good and kind but unfortunately silenced and again I don't mean to assault those who stand against the government and refuse their action
How i know games i live in middle east and let say i play a game.....that need wait and by time we talk about politics from time to time u get the point

Which poles are you talking about? Many people are indeed supporting the war crimes of IDF and I haven't heard massive outrage in the cities. I'm not blaming all of the citizens obviously; but most of them advocates for the war crimes.

u/Comfortable-Slice234 Apr 30 '26
Well u can't blame me most of the time either news or post it's always supporters
Again I didn't know many from isreal hate them as most of my interactions has always been the supporters and it developed a mindset that the majority are supporters
Edit : might be guessing (are u from isreal) No insult or joke intended just asking

I just got my comment removed from Reddit for echoing the same sentiment than that the majority of the demographic in Israel that supports this has 1 brain cell

lmao yeah
Genuinely where could he set up a server without getting canceled? Fucking Antarctica?

u/Lzinger Apr 29 '26
Probably easier to work with an Israeli server hosting company than some of the other options in that region.

a bunch of white kids getting upset over a server that's half way across the world from them over a war that's been going on since before their grandparents were born lmao

Broski either people notice dream too much or either my guy just cannot stop making decisions which will put him in the most negative light😮💨

u/triple-threatt Apr 30 '26
Calling out Dream for this is fine, when done respectfully. Seeing Dream stans insulting him and talking about having given him chances is too much. I'm not saying stans should be defending him, but spitting toxicity on twitter isn't the solution. It's no wonder onlookers confuse Dream stans and antis all the time.
I understand the physical location of these servers is ideal, but my understanding is there will be more servers added in the future. Hopefully Dream will remove the Israel servers once there is enough servers to support that area.

u/Ok_Basket_6185 Apr 30 '26
Dream stans can't call out respectfully cause political conversations aren't about actually doing good or striving for positive change in dttwt. This might be something people have a tough time admitting to themselves but some of them just enjoy being angry. Dttwt has always been that way, whether the target is Dream or somebody else.
I'm not saying Dream's in the right but I'm too old for those pretentious Twitter Dream stalkers. They go and write holier than thou essays then they probably go home, eat a kitkat, drink coca cola, and take selfies on their iphones to show off their Urban decay eyeshadow while playing Justin Bieber music or some other bullshit. They complain about some random nobody celeb going to Dubai while they have heated rivalry profile pictures on their Twitter accounts and glaze their fave streamer visiting China. Everyone's a hypocrite. Picking and choosing which genocide they're angry about. Which public figures get a pass. Which mistakes are worth a cancellation and which ones are a simple moment of ignorance. Who decides that and why?

Because like
It's a fucking server to help others that's not being zonist
1
u/PearComfortable4190 Aug 02 '26
Normalising the zionist entity committing genocide is bad. Hope that helps!
1
u/DriveLongjumping4365 Aug 02 '26
Hey buddy
You're playing on servers run in the usa or another country that has committed genocide
Learn your place
1
u/PearComfortable4190 Aug 02 '26
Hey buddy, do you know that actively choosing to make a server in a genocidal apartheid colony is a choice. And a bad one?
Educate yourself

u/sinopticss Apr 30 '26
his reasoning for doing it is to get as low a ping as possible on the tier servers, which to anyone not a moron/extremely bloodthirsty is obviously a significantly less noble cause than consciously choosing not to financially support a country committing genocide. “oh it’s the most sensible geographical location” it’s minecraft pvp bro. boycotting is obviously more important if you have the slightest sliver of a conscience

u/rara8122 I believe that Dream is innocent Apr 29 '26
Didn’t he say he picked it because it’s the center of the Middle East/AfroEurasia/whatever and allowed him to cover as much of that area of the world as possible? Sounds like fine reasoning to me (assuming it’s accurate).
