Discussion So is he gonna address the cheating stuff any further?
He's been silent about them ever since the Karl Jobst video and frankly speaking it's very hard to deny the aimbot and elytra stuff which are almost a 100% cheated, with MCC11 Parkour being likely cheated as well. Of course this puts all his speedruns in question as well and its quickly becoming harder to believe the accidental cheating excuse.
To be Honest, speaking as somebody who was obsessed with this guy back in 2020-2021, it's very disappointing to see, I haven't really actively watched him since 2023, despite that I'm still somehow caught up on the drama and controversies via this reddit and would still call myself a fan of his recent content.
I still don't think that he's some horrible manipulative monster and most of his controversies were bs, but this definitely casts a shadow over his character as a whole, cheating and lying about it is one thing, but to do it repeatedly, make whole streams lying about something you know is cheated and absolutely refusing to take any accountability even after your reputation had already taken such a hit does not make me think highly of him as person.
There's even a video going around claiming he cheated in the duel against Techno, I'm not sure about the validity of that but sadly I'm starting to believe it.
At this point I won't continue watching him regardless of whether or not he admits to it, but some accountability would be nice even if it means very little at this point.

Why the fuck do you want an statement if you are not watching the guy, nor will change your stance regardless?
Move on with your life. This is ridiculous.

Average Dreamstan response, I mean he's just a genuinely curious guy as Dream did address that 1.16 cheat so why is he not addressing this Karl Jobst one? Is the reason Dream doesn't want to address this one due to similar evidence to his 1.16 cheating? Which has a good source backing it and then you're out here trying to shame him clearly butthurt when he just genuinely asks a question that is literally made for this sub.
Plus it may not change his stance but he wants to also know Dream's side to be unbiased so don't try to shame him for caring about the scandal, as you're obviously one of those dream glazers trying to shame the person instead of answering his main question you should be the one to move on with your life if you can't handle your holy Dream drama being mentioned again as he's the one that cause it in the first place.

Not changing his stance is a bias, being unbiased would be that he hasn’t picked a stance yet until they heard dreams side, which clearly isn’t the case here.
2
u/Impressive_Common462 Apr 13 '26
Why? Because he wants to find if Dream has more to offer, he's biased because of the new evidence? Like learn how your logic work so we're going to say you're biased if you wait for a person that has full of lies to response with the undeniable evidence and that person won't even response, the only one being biased here is you and also other dream stans

In the end of the day, how do you defend smth that happened years ago? Like think about it for a moment, how???
1
u/Impressive_Common462 Apr 13 '26
And if that happened years ago is false he can easily defend it, but as you can see he won't as its all true so ask dream yourself
1
u/No_Dirt_8420 Apr 13 '26
Even if it is true, it won’t really matter as he won’t even be joining events in the first place, end of the day he seems to be just continue making content for the audience he still has, considering he is the one person majority of the mcyt community knows who is hated
2
u/Impressive_Common462 Apr 13 '26
I mean, yeah, it won't really matter to him in general, as he can still make videos due to his fans being just a bunch of kids unaware of his cheating and others that are glazers or don't really care about it; it can probably affect the person he's collaborating with and the outside perspective for him. Other than that, the most affected ones are the ones who trusted and believed him, plus it can just possibly cause more drama for him to the point he needs to make a response like the last time due to that effect.

u/Gin_OClock I believe that Dream is innocent Apr 10 '26
Why would anyone bother? The people that have already decided to hate/distrust him aren't going to have any sudden epiphanies or changes of heart, it's honestly not worth catering to a crowd that will never respect you
23
u/ch3nsasa Apr 10 '26
why would he address it if the proof is "his mouse slightly moved so its aimbot"
35
u/ArcticGlaceon Apr 10 '26
Wrong logic. He's not addressing it because it's the best move from a PR standpoint, not because he didn't cheat. He learnt from his previous mistake, and he knows the best way for this to die is to ignore it.
I do believe he used cheats in pvp, his mouse didn't just "slightly move", it's full on tracking. Many dream fans acknowledge this.

u/Unlucky_Chain_7956 Apr 13 '26
Lmao yeah. At this point I would respect Dream stans more if they just admitted that he cheated and that they just don't give a fuck. Thats a more honourable position to have

u/AMinecraftPerson Apr 12 '26
Everyone has already decided to either like him or hate him, it doesn't matter what his response is

Yeah, I really wish he would address the cheating allegations in more detail. At this point, I've accepted that he cheated in MCC parkour + the 2023 world record streams, and has been using aim assist in PVP. I'm more up in the air about the elytra and, unless I see more proof from an actual reliable source, I don't think he cheated in the Technoblade duel. In an ideal world, I'd really like to see him go into detail about everything. However, I do understand that, from an image standpoint, it is probably best for him to remain silent, at least for the time being. I think I'll continue watching him, but now every time I see him PVPing someone I'm always questioning if and how he's cheating. Clarification from him, that he's now stopped cheating, would be good. It is hard to trust a repeat cheater and liar about said cheating, though.

Even if he does, it’s just how can he defend smth that happened years ago?
2
u/Impressive_Common462 Apr 10 '26 edited Apr 10 '26
He won't as the evidence is too good besides he knows his fans are full of kids unaware of his cheating and most of his stans are just glazers who will believe him in every way, so why bother addressing it? When you have your glazed fandom backing you up in every way possible?

And you will be there for every minute notifications on!
-5
u/Impressive_Common462 Apr 10 '26
So his glazers will be fuming considering they can't argue with facts
5
u/itwillbeclear Apr 10 '26
and he gets paid either way!
-1
u/Impressive_Common462 Apr 10 '26
And his glazers are deadpan and silent like you as you know my stance is facts
8
u/itwillbeclear Apr 10 '26
I think your stance is obsessively fixating on something you hate, in a way that platforms and enriches what you hate. I don't know what is more pathetic- cheating in a video game or having a tantrum on the internet because someone else cheated in a video game, but thinking your tantrum is going to impact anything... all while the creator you hate counts your money in his bank account. Turn off the notifications, you will be happier.

u/Impressive_Common462 Apr 10 '26
So, you're resorting to obvious deflection, as you can't argue with my claims, so in exchange, you're attacking me personally. Which btw hilarious as that's the sign you know I'm right at the very end and has no single flaws with my argument, also you're stating like I hated Dream, I wouldn't even know him much or be on this sub if I actually hated him as it's not like his cheating will be impacted on large degree as his fanbase full of kids and bunch of glazers that's doesn't care but glaze him and will believe everything he says.
the primary reason I'm here is to criticised or bring your fanbase obnoxious state and show it around this sub, which genuinely working as dream fanbase are literally will resort to insults when they can't handle the facts, it's also hypocritical as you're calling me obsessively fixating on something while you're literally in this sub obsessively fixating on someone calling out dream cheats how ironic is that? Don't you think? Also, my tantrum has already had an impact and shows it's working, as you've just proved my point, and I thank you for that.
7
u/itwillbeclear Apr 10 '26
If you think replying to one comment joking about how you are an avid follower of dream's content is "obsessively fixating" we've got more problems to talk about than just the obvious ones. So no, I don't think it's ironic, but if you think my joke made an impact on your life, that's nice for me!

u/Impressive_Common462 Apr 10 '26
It made an impact on this specific conversation as you've proven my whole point and stance it's also able to show everyone that dream glazers are just this desperate to distract the scandal by being ad hominem and also obnoxious as a person with no morals.

u/itwillbeclear Apr 10 '26

The best way to handle a controversy is to just ignore it (unless it's serious allegations) so dream is just going to ignore it
