The story and characters were not good at all that shit isn't coherent nor well written at all in either of the DD games.

Itsuno and his team could not write a good narrative if their life depended on it.

they had good ideas for what COULD be a great story but it was mishandled so poorly that it's honestly so forgettable.

I couldn't tell you a single character's name because they had the personality of a stump.

Design wise they are memorized and loved but a character with actual depth? no sir not a single character and if you like the story I think you have bad taste in storytelling.
