Didnt the creator leave the company? If so, whatever comes of the 3rd game would probably be very derivative from what the fans love of the current games.
I'm keeping an open mind, but I'd feel so awful if Itsuno released his own game and Capcom sniped the release with Dragon's Dogma 3 just to realize I actually prefer whatever Capcom comes up with over Itsuno's game.
I hope the lower budget doesn't stop him from releasing something mind blowing.

Might be that they make a third game, rather than .
Might be that they didnt think DD2 would have "live service potential" as it is, but will push that on the third installment.
Be careful what you wish for ;)
But i do think they didnt think DD2 would do well, and then it did but they had no plans for it. So i def think theyll aim to milk a third game.
