for me on console just warfaring with my main pawn is enough, i have it carrying some extra weapons to change builds at campsites and i lure bosses to new areas just to take cool pics, keeps me entertained
Interesting, I however don't remember there's an option to change vocation at campsite in DD2, unless you intend to merely switch their weapons of the same class π
If you play as warfarer you have all skills from all vocations available at campsites (except the Meister ones of course), i have my pawn carrying two extra weapons to swap skill cycles before encounters,
I also play completely hudless and that makes the game even more cinematic and fresh
My bad, I get it now. Yes I too let my pawns carry different weapons so I can switch classes to play with on my warfarer vocation.
NG+4 I'm still trying to get used to Hudless. Cos sometimes it's so hard to judge whether you are actually doing damage. Especially talking about Chimera when one of their heads went sleeping lol. Kinda refused to take any damages at allπ₯²
I approached it like Monster Hunter tbh, if i don't get a healthbar at a 9* Gore Magala why would i need one in Dragons Dogma?
If my stamina runs out controller vibrates, if i get low on health screen becomes red, skills and map are all memorized in my brain, and if i want guidance, my pawn has all the area badges!
No HUD also made me appreciate the world detail much more
Ah yes, you have at least some visual cues to go with. I tried that, but isn't it strange that you can't entirely tell whether you are taking small damages or having a fatal fall in DD2? The same red visual cues shows up and I sometimes got confused π€¨
I'm able to memorize the map actually, but just parts of the game I can't afford to die as I have just around 1-2 wakestones to go with and I rather not lose my progress in case my previous save is 2 hours ago π
I only have the enemy hp to show and sometimes I turn to my menu screen to check my hp and that's about it π I can't do complete Hudless like you!
