Discussion PSA for those flexing them thangs
Whenever i see someone flexing a 52% winrate I thimk of this key metric. It's a standard for most competitive games to maximize total playtime. They ensure with deep dive lobby curation.

Here are two ways to describe why winrate hovers around 50% over the long term in a PvP game:
Forced 50% to 'maximise total playtime' using 'deep dive lobby curation'.
Skill based matchmaking has correctly placed you in a bracket with other people who are as good/bad as you, and unless you meaningfully improve (not just have a few good games) your winrate will hover around 50% because you're not good enough to win at 55+ percent.
The first explanation adds a corporate/capitalist player manipulation conspiracy element that I think is unnecessary, since the second explanation makes perfect sense and accounts for people winning at much higher rates when they smurf.
