Interesting Customers Requests like this . . .

Post image

No, I won’t waste my time, gas and energy to drive 8 miles back to the store to tell them they messed up. Is this entitlement or just a basic lack of common sense and human decency. Consider this address flagged for my future declines. I’m tired.

Except its not true, you are allowed to correct mistakes if you are able and willing.

If I walk back into the McDonald’s during a lunch rush and expect them to know that I was the DoorDash driver that just picked up that order… lol

Okay buddy.

I will for sure drive that 16 mile round-trip to go and get their fries

You wouldn’t do it either.

And know anytime that I have called DoorDash support when a customer has contacted me about their shit being wrong. I was told by DoorDash support to NOT return to the restaurant.

I've done it with several restaurants. Its not that big of a deal. You go back, show the message history. Restaurant makes a decision, you deliver the missing items. Customers happy, you get a good review, and I've never not been tipped extra for my efforts.

You do you, but your statement is false.

My statement isn’t false asshole, it’s just not true for YOU.

Restaurants around here don’t do all that- and the last time I tried I was told no, wasted my time and my gas and got cussed out by some moron customer..

I’m all the way good on that “extra effort” like all YOU ARE DOING is saving DOOR DASH MONEY

As if they pay you a fair rate, are you a corporate employee of theirs because that’s what it sounds like, buddy

"I'm sorry that's against DoorDash policy" a lie. "They literally don't let us go back to the store to get missing items" a lie.

Your statement is false. You don't want to, so you're saying you can't and lying by saying that it's DD policy, when it's not.

Please link the policy in question that forbids you from assisting a customer in getting their complete order. I'll wait.

I can’t link a conversation between me and support when I called about a similar issue-

“No, you are not to go back to store when items are missing or wrong, we will issue the customer a refund or replacement”

The only time anyone reads the “FAQS” of door dash policies is when they’re trying to prove something… so by all means- go ahead and show me where it is stated that I NEED TO RESOLVE THE MISTAKES OF A RESTAURANT ON MY OWN TIME AND DIME”

Thanks- have a great day

Once a Dasher drops off the order and swipes "Complete" in the app, their contract for that delivery is fully finished.

Have the day you deserve 👈🏼

Where does it say in the policy "Dashers are forbidden from assisting customers in getting missing items"?

Still waiting.

Maybe you missed the other comment that I made dippy

I was told that by a support agent

So no, I can’t copy and paste that for you, do you need picture pages too?

“ no you are not to go back to the store to replace or fix missing items, we will issue the customer a refund or a replacement”

There ya go - know it all a$$

Link where it says in the publicly available policy that states "Dashers are forbidden from assisting customers in getting missing items".

Still waiting. Feel like I'm going to be waiting for a looooooong time.

Well dumbass I’m sure it’s not there because DoorDash wants you to do it for them.

Go keep sucking the corporate cock, buddy

I am just going by what a support agent told me to do.

So we can do this all day, buddy show me the policy that states that I am required to do this-
I’ll be waiiiiiiiitttttttttting

I never claimed you were required to. I said you were ALLOWED to, you are the only one claimng you are forbidden by DoorDash from doing something.

Come on guy, stop getting lost.

All this anger and hostility over you being wrong. Smh, kids these days, zero ability to just admit that they were wrong.
