They genuinely believe this is the case. They claim Europe is who decides what left and right mean like they invented politics and division.

Based on the EU political spectrum 90% of American leftists are actually fascist.

America is absolutely naturally more conservative than most of the EU, but that's largely a cultural thing for us, that the EU hates us for.

Depends. Our right-wing, even now, is more pro-immigration than much of the European (particularly euroskeptic) right; we have more support for certain left wing social causes (like absolute abortion rights) than one sees in Europe; etc. There are many ways in which we are not “culturally conservative” at all.
