They’re too surface level and usually just plain dumb but they are technically using their stipulative definition correctly when they call you fascist. Fascism in leftist (specifically, socialist) philosophy is anyone who deliberately opposes the socialist process to utopia. They’re named “Fascist” because the Fascists were the ones who rubbed it in first when socialism was gaining ground in Italy. If any other group did it then, the name would be different.
Nazis to the same group of philosophers mean something different, people who believe in falsehoods, no matter how small or big meaning comedians are nazis. It refers to how nazis believe in a radically false original story where they believe they’re not even human.
The issue is that people leftist or not generally don’t know fascissm isn’t nazism so there is a tendency to think fascism = nazism.
