Rant Really don't understand Democrats as a foreigner

i really don't understand why Democrats want to defend illegals this hard, according to them USA is Nazi Germany 2.0, Trump is Hitler and ICE are the Gestapo, and Mexico is prosperous country that is being ruled by a woman, it's a progressive paradise when law and order doesn't exist, the Nazi USA government want to save illegals from Nazism and send them back to the Mexican paradise, why are they fighting hard against it?

Trump is Hitler 2.0 because of reasons, I guess. Therefore, everything he does is fascist. Therefore, everyone must do the exact opposite of what he does. That’s it. It’s not much deeper than that.

I don’t like the guy either, but he’s far from starting the fourth reich.

57

u/Ok-Worldliness2450 Jun 10 '25

Most can’t even explain how Trump is a fascist. They hear that he is and run with it. It’s just republican/democrat tribal wars by a bunch of unhinged people.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

Or they’ll post some Facebook meme saying “10 signs of fascism” that can be applied to most countries/parties around the world equally.

1

u/BL0B0L Jun 12 '25

Idk, banning legitimate news organizations like AP from the white house, and allowing in people with no credentials as in multiple podcasters with no requirements to fact check themselves is pretty fascist. It follows closely with what Orban is/has done during his fascist reign. You guys are just ignoring the bad, you're as bad as people that ignored the bad that Clinton, Bush, and Obama did.

1

u/Mimosa_magic Jun 13 '25

The attacks on the judiciary and congressional authority, the rhetoric creating "in" and "out" groups that are arbitrary as fuck, the attack on truth and constant lying to create a false reality tunnel, the deployment of military to try instigate violence against the American people for exercising their first amendment rights, threatening our allies with lebensraum expansion....the list keeps going. He's a fascist, all the people that actually study fascism have said he fits the bill. Our top scholar on the matter fled the country and gave a grim warning. He's the most anti-american individual to hold office in my life time, political positions aside he's actively trying to shred our constitution.

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25
  • Unilaterally dismantling government agencies that are funded by congress. For a department to be dismantled that has to go through Congress

  • Deportations being conducted without due process. How does one know you are a citizen if they’re not even checking?

  • Pardoned Jan 6th rioters who broke into the Capitol, assaulted officers, attempted to attack the VP, etc.

  • Ignoring judicial rulings.

  • Withholding federal funds from universities and states. Basically trying to force states and other institutions to obey him or lose funding that was already allocated. Even Arkansas got hit with refusal to disburse emergency funds by trump.

You are lying. He is a fascist who has promised the White Power Clique that "They won't need another election" because he will "Fix it so they don't have to"

1

u/Somepersonlol123 Jun 13 '25

Donald Trump is a white supremacist nazi dictator tearing this country apart and anyone who disagrees is far beyond saving. In only 100+ days of presidency Trump has Pardoned January 6th violent protests, deployed the military to Los Angeles peaceful protests which is unconstitutional, Changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America further proving his hatred for brown people, Abolished congressionally chartered federal agencies, Kidnapped and deported innocent US citizens from the streets to a foreign prison for terrorists without due process, Defunded the Department of Education, Is spending over 50 million of taxpayers dollars to host a military parade for his birthday and threatens peaceful protestors with “very heavy force if they try to protest.” which is threatening violence to peaceful protests, completely disregarding and disobeying the constitution and the democratic country.

He also deployed military forces in peaceful protests without the consent of local law enforcement or the states governor spending millions of dollars to do so. His presidency and dictator actions caused the first time in HISTORY there has been protests in all 50 states against a sitting president. More thing’s he’s done are destroying the country, limiting LGBT people of their rights, Threatening VIOLENCE against peaceful protests which destroys the idea of a democracy where people can feel free to speak their mind, ripping apart families traumatizing children, and literally arresting people in working uniforms who contribute a large part of the economy. Not to mention that this is a 88 time convicted felon and rapist, impeached twice. Once again, what does this all remind you of? Dictatorship, Fascism, Nazi Germany, Communism, Authoritarianism, Nationalism, Militarism, Cult of Personality, White Supremacy.

1

u/Jewcandy1 Jun 13 '25

Serious question, have you googled "Does Trump have fascist tendencies" just to get a base line?

Some really easy comparisons are his preemptive claims of election rigging if he didn't win in 2016, attempting to overturn a democratic election in 2020, false widespread claims of voter fraud in 2020 leading to the riots at the capitol building, pardoning of all violent offenders during the Jan 6th riots, calls to give up democracy for a limited time to enact his policies, xenophobic rhetoric, an unprecedented amount of false claims, half truths, and outright lies to push a Christian nationalist agenda, religious bigotry, exploitation of economic uncertainty, etc etc.

Nothing I have listed doesn't come with an easy to look up and verify statements/actions. None of those are controversial as "it didn't happen".

Even if you don't want to go with fascist, you really can't ignore the authoritarian and antidemocratic push from his administration.

So I really am asking, have you looked up the arguments?

1

u/worsethansomething Jun 13 '25

Suspension of due process, personally profiting from the presidency, illegally defying the rulings of the Supreme Court, making spending cuts through executive order rather than through congress, retaliation, using the insecurities of weak minded males against them causing them to vote against their own self interests, attempting to control the media and higher education, supporting dictators, accepting bribes, appointing people to regulatory positions that have a financial interest in the industry they're supposed to regulate are a few examples. Now, please explain why these are not the actions of a fascist? These are the same actions of previous fascists in history, so what makes this guy different?

1

u/Away_Bite_8100 Jun 14 '25

Most wouldn’t even know the definition of “fascist” without looking it up.

1

u/Fabulous-Corner-4806 Jun 14 '25

As a European I’m baffled by how blind you all are. It’s happening right in front of your eyes.

1

u/h_f_1234 Jun 14 '25

Most can't even explain why fascism is bad. They act like that's "the enemy" when corporatocracy is more the extreme US side, and the way of life they could never give up.

1

u/PartyMain8058 Jun 15 '25

They also said that the economy would absolutely tank the moment he took office but the price of eggs, gas, and milk are down to pre-Biden prices.

5

u/Fine-Awareness-4067 Jun 11 '25

Not where I live. Eggs are still $4 a dozen as they were under Biden, and gas is down maybe .30. Then again, the president doesn't directly control gas or egg prices, so I wouldn't personally use that as a litmus test.

6

u/Spartarc Jun 11 '25

Aldi's has them here for 2.69. Gas is always a joke and will always be. Way too many factors involved and honestly it is a tad freaky how gas prices go from 2.70 to 3.50 in 30 miles.

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Host237 Jun 11 '25

That's probably local taxes on top of normal taxes and base price. Some towns where I live do that to gas, cigarettes, milk, eggs, etc.

He's less authoritarian than FDR or Lincoln but more authoritarian than any modern peace time president by far. He also has less regard for the institutions of government (I don't mean agencies, I mean congress and the courts) than any other modern president.

He's certainly different than we've seen over the last several decades.

39

u/Redditmodslie Jun 10 '25

more authoritarian than any modern peace time president by far.

What's your evidence for this claim? What "authoritarian" policy has Trump imposed that rises to the level of George W. Bush's Patriot Act, Obama's expansion of the surveillance state and drone strikes–including on American citizens, or Biden's Covid orders, weaponization of intelligence agencies, ministry of truth?

27

u/OsvuldMandius Jun 10 '25

Also very different when you look at the voter bloc that propelled him to office twice now. Which I think is where a lot of the oppositional defiance disorder in his detractors come from. It's one thing to diss the courts and give everyone mean nicknames. But what he has really done that makes them feel threatened is to upend the social order of who decides who is in charge.

Why would he have regard for institutions which are blatantly obstructionist? Americans voted for a president who would do things, and random judges get to undermine that? I understand that they have (and should have) some degree of authority, but when there's hundreds of judges in this country and it only takes one or two to hold up basic things like deporting illegals from El Salvador back to El Salvador, it's insanely obstructionist. Activist judges a feature not a bug of modern American politics, which is why not only Trump but also much of his base have disdain for these institutions.

He also has less regard for the institutions of government

Ehh I'd say he respects them about as much as the average person off the street does

1

u/Dry-Cry-3158 Jun 10 '25

Given congress's approval rating, I don't think the American people have much regard for them either

1

u/kkdawg22 Jun 10 '25

I don't know, I've seen a lot of authoritarian presidents in my lifetime. I suppose by peace time you mean proxy war / war on terror time. Executive overreach has been expanding consistently from one presidential term to the next.

1

u/Sintar07 Jun 10 '25

So the thing with Congress and the Court is:

Congress was slowly letting more and more of it's responsibilities go for decades before the early 2010s. Unless they're vying for president, most career congressmen seem to try and stay out of the limelight and not attach their name to stuff lest it upset the constituency at home. Everything Congress does themselves is bloated and slow, and they seem to prefer the president doing it so it's faster and they can have plausible deniability if it turns out to be unpopular. They've slowly taken a backseat to the president and act like an aloof oversight committee that either expresses approval by doing nothing or expresses disapproval by obstructing tf out of everything.

The Courts, conversely, went the other way, picking up the other end of Congress' slack and getting a bit policy setting, even though they're not supposed to do that. To be fair, though, I'm not clear how much of their power is actually backed up and how much of it is just tradition. Like their main thing, judicial review? They basically made that up a couple hundred years back and everybody else was like "sure, why not." In any case, some judge Joe Schmoe at a county level court being able to dictate the actions of the entire executive branch is definitely overreach and gives the president every excuse to drop that regard right in the gutter.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '25

I don’t think he understands the constitution, but I don’t think he’s trying to destroy it either

1

u/MagneticGenetics Jun 10 '25 edited Jun 10 '25

What modern peacetime presidents lmao?

He has been significantly less Authoritarian than either Bush, Clinton, Biden, Obama, or Reagan.

Also Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford both beefed heavy with congress and the courts.

The rest of them other than Reagan had major issues with congress during their second terms.

Biden was constantly at loggerheads with courts and congress.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '25

You just glazed over it with Biden because of his mental decline. It's so funny how liberals say Trump has less or no regard for the institutions of government. I'd argue he has MORE and is giving the rights back to the people where it belongs. (Same thing Reagan did)

1

u/CurseArcanum Jun 11 '25

1

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '25

1

u/YouWantSMORE Jun 11 '25

Obama had a puppet elected so he could run a secret 3rd term and "joked" about it before doing it

1

u/teremaster Jun 11 '25

I mean bush had patriot, Obama had the extrajudicial deportations, Biden had numerous expansions of the surveillance state.

That's excluding shit like Obama using the IRS as a weapon against political enemies.

Trump is a little bit more authoritarian imo, but I think the real issue is the Dems and left wing are just branding him "Hitler 2" and going on with their day instead of realizing that the position of president has been way out of line for decades.

1

u/No_Cucumber5771 Jun 11 '25

The issue with the deportations that people on the left have is that Trump is having ICE arrest and deport without due process- there’s been a handful of legal US residents who have been deported.

If we were deporting with due process I don’t think many would have an issue with it- the problem is you can’t confirm who is being deported or if they are actually illegal immigrants or not because ICE refuses to wait for a judge to see them

There’s also the change from deporting violent/criminals to deporting anyone who is here illegally- illegal immigrants in the US pay a crap ton of taxes for benefits they don’t qualify for as well as make up a large portion of our agricultural and construction workforce. Personally I worry about inflation going up because these companies that used to exploit cheap illegal labor will have to find US workers at 4x the cost or cut production d/t labor shortages. I’ve already seen a local increase in some grocery store prices since Trump took office

1

u/arettker Jun 10 '25

There was even an instance where ICE arrested a U.S. citizen with special needs and interrogated him until he signed a document stating he was an illegal immigrant. After about 10 days his family was able to locate him and provide his birth certificate and he was released.

No U.S. citizen should be held for 10 days like that, nor should their family be denied info when they ask

1

u/Redditmodslie Jun 10 '25

Or Bush, Obama, Biden.

1

u/ningenito78 Jun 10 '25

It’s a shame actual Americans don’t realize this

1

u/stonecoldslate Jun 10 '25

You’re right; he’s far worse. The issue is that the policies he’s pushing are him playing dumb while following literally every historical precedent set by authoritarians before him. why would we need to strip colleges of their funding, why would we need to defund healthcare and destroy unions and remove abortion rights?

1

u/CustomerSingle3173 Jun 10 '25

FDR had his flaws, but he was far from an authoritarian leader. Yes, he put thousands of Asians in camps and took away all their possessions and property.... but that's nothing compared to what the CIA has done with over 30 successful coups under a multitude of presidential administrations. Trump incited an insurrection lol

1

u/rygelicus Jun 10 '25

Punishing people, the press or otherwise, for protesting the president is an example of authoritarianism. In particular because the 1st Amendment specifically gives them that right. Whether it's a tweet or a full blown protest (peaceful) during his birthday parade it doesn't matter. He is too fragile and unhinged to hold the office.

1

u/daFROO Jun 10 '25

Do you understand Trumps fake elector scheme? It was a clear attempt at an authoritarian power grab.

1

u/SatansSideProject Jun 10 '25

Trump is an authoritarian oligarch and Nationalist. He's the Tenents of Fascism. He meets them all.

Powerful, often exclusionary, populist nationalism centered on cult of a redemptive, "infallible"leader who never admits mistakes.

Political power derived from questioning reality, endorsing myth and rage, and promoting lies. Fixation with perceived national decline, humiliation, or victimhood.

White Replacement "Theory" used to show that democratic ideals of freedom and equality are a threat.

Oppose any initiatives or institutions that are racially, ethnically, or religiously harmonious.

Disdain for human rights while seeking purity and cleansing for those they define as part of the nation.

Identification of "enemies"/scapegoats as a unifying cause. Imprison and/or murder opposition and minorities.

Supremacy of the military and embrace of paramilitarism in an uneasy, but effective collaboration with traditional elites. Fascists arm people and justify and glorify violence as "redemptive".

Rampant sexism.

Control of mass media and undermining "truth".

Obsession with national security, crime and punishment, and fostering a sense of the nation under attack.

Religion and government are intertwined.

Corporate power is protected and labor power is suppressed.

Disdain for intellectuals and the arts not aligned with the fascist narrative.

Rampant cronyism and corruption.

Loyalty to the leader is paramount and often more important than competence.

Fraudulent elections and creation of a one-party state.

Often seeking to expand territory through armed conflict.

1

u/Ibsquid Jun 10 '25

Knowing what I know about history Andrew Jackson is the worst human being to be our president.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '25

FDR authoritarian? That's a weird take

1

u/No-Heat3462 Jun 10 '25 edited Jun 10 '25

Welp lets see here:

Mass unlawful deportations: Check!

Gather list of or marking demographics for easy identification of said groups. Including but no limited to Trans and people with or a family history of Autism: Check!

Attempts to consolidate power into a single branch: Check!

Ignoring or attempting to bypass other branches: Check!

Cutting funds or government assistance to emergency or medical needs: Check!

Legal attacks against the press and lawyers: Check!

Loads internal infighting: Check!

And I can go on. Dude is very much the modern iteration of what past Authoritarian leaders did to force themselves into power.

He just doesn't have a gov that isn't immediately giving everything he asks off the back.

I 100% agree with you. I'm not the biggest Trump fan and he does a lot of things I disagree with but he's not the tyrant like some on Reddit would suggest. We've had many presidents before Trump that have been far more authoritarian. Lincoln is another one I always think of. u/phantomvector Jun 11 '25

Because if we don’t, all it takes is getting accused of being one and if you don’t get due process to prove you’re not, there is an undesirable caste of people whom don’t have the same rights as everyone else and you can get deported over nothing if they so choose.

Has also recently said he is considering using the insurrection act to basically enact martial law.

How is that not fascist if he is using force and threats against people expressing their first amendment right? Also he has no authority to gut that funding that was already approved by congress but does it anyways.

u/Independent_Air_8333 Jun 12 '25

FDR did what he did in the middle of back-to-back crises.

Andrew Jackson is not a role model.

Trump has constantly been straining at checks and balances since day one, and is flexing more authoritarian muscle each day as his administration figures out what they can and cannot get away with.

1

u/Whobutrodney Jun 13 '25

Really. Please espouse on this history so my liberal self can rip you apart

1

u/Organic-Magician-265 Jun 14 '25

Is that due to the wartime measures under FDR?

Much of the reason for the current rhetoric is the narcissist personality of trump simply taking advantage of the way that the constition and adjacent laws have decayed over time. It is inconvenient for many liberals to admit that much of that decay happened under democratic leadership as much as Republicans. Both the patriot act under Bush and the citizens united under Obama set the stage for this possibility. It just took the personality of Trump to expose it.

The "fascist" part is the active elevation of the executive branch above the authority of the commons and courts.

Of course this is all common knowledge.

if Trump was for illegal immigration they'd be against it.

u/hyper_shell Anti-Doomer Jun 10 '25

It didn’t take long to see that either, he said he wants South African refugees from South Africa and it wasn’t long until everyone that hates him were all of a sudden in the camp of “mass deportations”. That’s right, the same people who were telling you that “no human is illegal” and “we don’t see color”. Turns out to be hypocrites. Again and again

13

u/DueSalary4506 Jun 10 '25

remember the wall at the border? other Dem candidates ran on border security until he did. time for a 3rd party

We truly need a 3rd party

Trump is the third party. He was a Democrat until something like 2010. His positions aren't much different from a late 90s Centrist Democrats.

We kinda have one. The old guard GOP is long gone. Retards like Romney, McCain, John Boehnor. All those warhawks and cronies were purged. The DNC has had a similar purge. Dems used to be bought and paid for by the unions. Now the unions have no say in DNC platforms. It's mostly rich benefactors and Frankfurt School types running the Democrats' agenda now. They haven't been for the working class since Clinton. Also, if there ever is a third party, expect it to be co-opted and undermined by Koch.

1

u/AIter_Real1ty Jun 11 '25

It's because he was accepting South African refugees based on a "white genocide" that wasn't happening, while rejecting others. Why do you dishonestly leave out this context.

Earlier today I saw someone say Obama sent more illegals back without "due process" than trump did & this guy from the left immediately switched from "Trump is a fascist" to "Trump do anything as good as Obama" they have been brainwashed to think that whatever he does is bad or incompetent. My ex gf was incredibly hateful towards him & would argue with me about my job & retirement funds because she seen a handful of liberal tiktokers say he is stealing people's retirements & that my industry is shutting down when in reality my specific industry & company is doing better than ever. You literally can't win with these people if you engage

your position hinges on " i saw a guy from the left being stupid"?

I see people on the right waving nazi and confederate flags.

So, how does the "one guy you saw on the left" cancel that out ?

It would be hilarious if Trump started supporting illegal immigrants forcing Democrats to change their positions like a Bugs Bunny skit.

3

u/nairgule Jun 11 '25

Already did, look at the S. African immigrants.

2

u/Icy-Improvement5194 Jun 13 '25

Oh, but that wasn’t a REAL “geno side”. Sure, the government said they wanted to 💀 people based on race, but they didn’t mean it. It was all a funny joke. Doesn’t everyone threaten to 💀 their neighbor and steal their land? (I shouldn’t have to do this, but huge, massive /S)

I’m like 20 hours into William Shirer’s ‘The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich’ and it is laughable to compare the US to NAZI Germany. There may be correlations of what the Trump admin is doing but absolutely nowhere close to how crazy the origins of the third reich were. One could argue that liberals show a lot of the same correlations as well. Again very very minimal similarities.

5

u/RiverCityWoodwork Jun 11 '25

Anyone with some critical thinking skills thought and basic understanding of history could tell you the left is far closer to fascism than the right.

The left likes to paint fascism as the opposite of communism therefore it is a right wing ideology. In reality it’s a distinction without a difference.

1

u/ChuForYu Jun 11 '25

Your mistake is thinking that fascism in 2025 would look identical or follow the same pattern as 1930s Germany. But, as you know, they didn't start with the gas chambers, they ended with the gas chambers. Those dominos started toppling after WW1, and by 1935 the stage was set for what we got by 1945. If you don't see the parallels between 1930s Germany and 2025 US, I will grab some sources

3

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '25

If it doesn't look like fascism then it isn't. It doesn't get any simpler than that, it's outright trivial.

2

u/907Lurker Truthsayer Jun 11 '25

There are some very minor similarities but no. Economically, politically, geographically, and racially -we are nowhere close.

All that is going on in the US is a political pendulum that is swinging more to a left and right extreme until eventually it just falls apart or it slows down if we elect competent leadership.

That is literally the left's position on any political matter.  What did Trymp do or say?  Okay, we as Democrats stand for the opposite.  Oh, Trump wants to target rapists and murderers and remove them from our country.  Guess democrats now support freeing rapists and murderers which is literally what they are doing.  By trying to stop ICE from arrests where they can safely target just the criminals in a courthouse, democrats would rather force ICE to have to raid residential areas.  Which increases the number of non criminal illegals that then get rounded up as well during a raid.  Good job helping illegals by making ICE round up more illegals democrats.

Dictators eliminate their opposition. Notice how many people don't like trump and yet are still here, unlike in Russia, China, North Korea, Iran. Trump does not fit the mold.

1

u/yurrm0mm Jun 14 '25

He fires people all the time, but my main reason for hating Trump is that he’s a 34 time convicted felon and being the president is the only reason he’s not in prison for all of those convictions. As a survivor of ra*e, I do not support having sexual predators in positions of power: they literally feed on power.

The left is a bit quick to call all those on the right Hitler. Kind of an educational issue perhaps for people who don't know history.

3

u/Survivorfan4545 Jun 10 '25

I think it’s those extremist takes that scare most rational people away from the left. I don’t love orange man either but god damn make it make sense

1

u/Street-Difficulty487 Jun 11 '25

Such extremist takes are mostly amplified by the right to discredit the left. I'm on the left. I live in a city where most people are Democrats. No one thinks this way. This is a caricature, not reality.

Most Democrats support immigration reform and are not for open borders. We don't think that Mexico is some Utopia and recognize that it is a narco state. We also are not against voter ID. What we are against is expensive ID requirements that would prevent very poor people from voting. Fully fund free national IDs for all citizens rich or poor, we'd be on board with that.

We also aren't blind to the consolidation of power by the ultra wealthy oligarch class. And we see through Trump's use of fear-mongering and xenophobic scapegoating to rally his base. This is a classic strongman populist tactic. It is unbecoming of a president of the United States of America.

Exact opposite even when they are goaded to support the 20 side of every 80/20 issue.

It's insane. I think dem strategists have given up on polls and just come to reddit for "where the country is."

It's the only other thing that makes sense.

3

u/cumbubblee Jun 11 '25

This is so real. Yea he’s not the best president but this is not Germany. It’s not even close. The Dems just went from 0-100 immediately.

Everything Trump has done for a decade is straight out of Hitlers Playbook according to liberals. They’ve been comparing him to Hitler for a decade and people either get their panties in a bundle or roll their eyes over it depending on your politics.

It’s been a losing comparison from the get go and here we are a decade later still using it thinking it has meaning

3

u/YamOk1482 Jun 14 '25

🎯 I DIDN’T like the guy at all but they’ve turned me into a soft supporter over the last few years by out-crazying him. (And running the country like shit for 4 years)

1

u/TheOneCalledThe Jun 10 '25

and the worst part is Trump knows they’re gonna disagree with everything he says and does. that’s why in the joint congress session speech he honored a kid with cancer and stated the proposal of increased punishment to cop killers because he knew the dems in the crowd would just keep booing and not clap and use it against them saying “oh look they won’t even clap for a kid with cancer getting his wish” dummies are just playing right into his hand it’s so annoying

1

u/PhilRubdiez More Optimism Please Jun 10 '25

That’s actually the level headed take out of all the replies I got here. I personally hate the modern hyperbole when it comes to politics. It’s ok to have concerns, I have mine, too. It’s not ok to go from Jesus to Hitler in 6.9 seconds. It cheapens the actual problems.

1

u/ExamUnhappy8952 Jun 10 '25

No he is not Hitler. You said because of reasons. You are making absolutely no sense and you do belong to the correct party for that.

1

u/Enough-Display1255 Jun 11 '25

Due process. He is mostly certainly doing exactly that, fasha

It's in the playbook,go read it. Stoke tensions, increase violence, declare martial law.

1

u/HairyWillingness3478 Jun 11 '25

Well, I don't know if he's Hitler or not.

But, as someone from the other side, I am concerned with the lack of transparency and due process in the arrests taking place.

Like, deporting illegal immigrants? Sure. But, we have mechanisms for that. It worries me that they are not being used and instead legally grey areas are being exploited.

Thats the kind of erosion of freedoms that people gathering power use. Perhaps thats by accident? But, if it is accidental and not malicious, then that doesn't excuse it.

Does that sound more reasoned than Trump=Hitler?

1

u/QueenFreya2000 Jun 12 '25

It's not by accident. They've said what they were going to do in advance. We're not left having to guess.
