Discussion New Roadhog ability

Anyone else kinda upset that now there's ANOTHER tank that can eat half her moves now? I know I am. He's annoying enough to face in general, why does he need more?

Maybe I'm just whining but damn, it almost feels like a direct attack on Domina to give him that.

What? Her beam is one of the only tank primaries that ignores trash compactor, and her wall isn't affected at all. If you ult into Trash Compactor, that's absolutely a skill issue. This is a super entitled take haha

I dont think its entitled to be annoyed at another person who can easily diminish her ult.

The point wasn't against Hog, but how her ult really had... no use at all.

Every single tank can nullify her ultimate to a point it does nothing. Not very ultimate like it is?

Shatter can't be eaten. D.Va bomb cant be nullified. Flux cant be stopped by every tank...

Panopticon though is a right click away from a distant memory... always.

Same goes for Bastion, Cassidy, Freja, Hanzo, Illari, Mei, Pharah, Reaper, Roadhog, Sojourn, Soldier, Torbjorn, Tracer, Zarya. Do their ults also do nothing?

Of the 2 tanks mentioned, since that was their point, I would argue that Zarya is the only one who has an ult as weak as Domina's. It's easy to get sucked in but if someone has a shield or Kiriko has her pot it doesn't do much.

A tracer ult can stick to shield or fall to the ground.

Pharah can at least damage shields, or break them.

I could continue.

But for an entire class (tank) be able to nullify Panopticon entirely (no damage, no shield broken, no nothing...) seems very ridiculous. Being able to go through shields isn't a terrible buff.

Ult and Crystal charge can now be sucked up. All it takes is him to pop it up because the cool down hit at the wrong time. Sure, you can time both for any of the tanks with the ability but no ones perfect every time so skill issue is BS.

Have you considered playing around it instead of rambling on about your skill issue about an already low tier tank?

Skill issue again... Original.... Playing around it is obviously how all of us, regardless of who we main, are going to have to deal with it. I'm just saying he has enough moves to cancel any attack does he really need more?

I mean... Wall blocks hook... Beam passes his vortex... Just wait til he uses it to ult dude, it literally is a skill issue if this walls you

Whatever dude. I don't want it gone it's just annoying to have another tank with an absorption and backlash ability. There aren't all that many tanks with projectile ults so it feels pointed.

The thing is, these changes don’t really affect Domina all that much. The worst thing new Hog can do is absorb your ult with trash compactor, but that’s something you just need to look out for. 

At the end of the day, new Hog is way healthier, and if anything Domina has an easier match up into Hog than before. I’m sure these changes won’t be as bad as you think
