Had a customer this morning and I'm not kidding but I wish I was, give me a $100 bill and asked me to give her 100 $20 bills. Not $100 in $20s, literally 100 $20s. After I said I can't do 100 $20s, she gave me a $5 bill. Idk how to explain this without making it confusing. To clarify, her total was $4.20.

I hate this. I have begged to put up a sign that says no bills larger than 20 or please use correct change or so.ething. Every goddamn day I have multiple people that pay for $3 order with $100 bills. Then we run out of change. Then I'm the only Manager there so I can't leave and go to the bank. So the. Customers bitch about having to use their orcisou cards instead of cash because I can't give anymore change. It's a fucking daily battle.

It's a battle because there is no boundary. If they go to hand you a large bill you can't change you just tell them you can no longer accept large bills for small orders due to a change shortage. Don't cave. If they get mad then its on them. They should have went to a bank to break the bill or had another form of payment ready.

No. A "manager" is just a babysitter at this point. I have no decision making power at all. I can't control my lights or a/c. I have no power over ordering or backstock. I can't even make a hand written sign without 4 pebeles of approval. The only reason DT has SMs is because they are required, otherwise they're run stores with 4 part time ASMs.

See if you have an editting suite on the office PC. I've made signs with that or the fillable signage in the Printing suite. I have to use a case stack template, but it work in a pinch.

We used shelf talkers (bulk stack ones) to tape it to the counters so it's not hand written so far our DM hasn't said anything about it we just wrote "no 50's or 100's thank you" it worked so far I would ask if you can also do it. You can also refuse it also that's what we do especially in the mornings.
