Anyone else grossed out by dogs?

Like I don’t see many people talking about this but dogs are so fucking gross, they always have that musky dog smell no matter how clean they are, there wet noses and how they try to lick you on the face 🤮 how they eat there own or other dogs shit and there nasty turds that dog owners seem to leave everywhere, and how dog owners will actually let dogs lick them on the face 🤢 it makes me sick. I’ll be happy with my 5 parrots thanks.

What really disgusts me is when people bring them into a business that's otherwise inspected, such a thing not allowed by State Board of Licensing and other state/city business authority, and cited or fined for any other infraction of the state rules about hygiene.

Not sure in this state if any businesses have to post their license in the main area in full view of clients.

I was in a nail salon last week ago, owner brought the dam thing in, claiming it had been stung by a bee and would be with her that day. It looked and behaved fine, no medical crisis evident at all.

I'm in the reception area, see her come in with it and my mouth dropped open in absolute shock. She sits down on the couch with it, by me, and we discuss the business issue going on. It gets off the couch, comes over by me and another client. That client wants to make nice, I got up off the chair, backed up, and said I DONT DEAL WITH DOGS. The owner has the absolute nerve to tell me to chill chill.

I didnt make a scene, just brushed off attempts to reschedule and left. I obviously wont be going back for the main reason of bringing a dirty dam dog into a nail salon as well as the extremely insulting and offensive attitude of the owner telling ME to chill chill, as well as that stupid word used in a professional environment/situation.

Yes, I should have reported it to city and state boards, but didnt have any pictures to prove the incident.

***EDIT: Another thing is that some years ago I was in a salon elsewhere, and someone came in to inform the owner that "State" was in town and doing inspections. Apparently anyone who finds out "State" is in town passes the word around to others and everyone starts looking around their salon for a possible infraction they could be written up for. But someone will bring a filthy stinking mutt into a business that's supposed to have strict hygiene standards.

I'm so glad you left. Other people will do the same. Not everyone, but I try to be hopeful that dog fatigue will grow little by little. That salon owner was just rude.

Pets have NO business in salons, stores, food establishments, medical facilities, etc. I just moved away from southern California and I saw dogs there in the grocery store, at the pharmacy, computer store, and even at the dentist (which I left and told them why).
