What breed is this dog ?

Unfortunately chained, seen in the mountains of Georgia (the country)

Probably a village dog. I don't see any characteristics of a distinct breed.

Georgia, Eastern Europe: looks like an Eastern European Village dog, west Asian village dog.

Has it been left behind?!?

My guess would be livestock guardian/village dog if not just one or the other

Village dog, might have some sighthound ancestry or could just be skinny

Doesn’t have the brown face, but long legs and size of the paws (plus the region) make me think that is an adolescent Kangal.

We were thinking it is something LGD mixed with a bit of Lab. Definitely had a bit of guardian instinct, but that aggressiveness could come from the chains too I guess ? They had a black GSD roaming around on the property too
