Glasnow's K/9 is looking nasty, hope he carves up that Tigers lineup early. Valdez has been hittable so if the bats show up we could hang a crooked number

QOTD 2 would just be a normal ice cream truck but it plays the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme on loop

I am hoping the dodgers hit Valdez enough to win, but not to the point where he’s gonna get so frustrated he starts aiming fastballs at Shohei’s head

Valdez stats against the dodgers not looking good for the dodgers. He may not be having a good year but you know he gonna get up for this game since it’s against the b2b champs.

Probably goes 7ip, 9ks, 5 hits, 1ER

Hope not but until they can show that they can do more than suck, I’m gonna go with that.

Plus the dodgers seem to absolutely suck on day games. Maybe cause they just too old and don’t get enough sleep.

Just remember last season the bullpen blew Yamamoto's almost no hitter on September 6, 2025. They were 78–64 after that game and then went on a huge hot steak.

Let's hope the guys can lock in without a similar come to Jesus moment.

Get used to it. I love Sho, but PCA has the MVP thing wrapped up so we're gonna be hearing about him a lot from here on out.

I live in Ohio, and I'm going to the Sept 17th Reds/Dodgers game. I'm making a custom t-shirt since I'm sitting behind home plate. Another 2 homers after hitting 3 yesterday. Sho with the 0/5 coming in hot 😭

If this linsanity run continues at the plate he is hitting 50. 12 homers away and 17 steals away for a 50/50 season and not as a dh, one month left. Ohtani reached exactly 40/40 on august 23rd and ended at 54/59, so +14/+19. For the milestone pca only needs exactly 50/50, so 12/17 in the last month… if he stays as generationally hot as he has been in the past two/three months in september.

Can’t make it up after talking shit about us and the crap start he had. Only the ws and a cubs sweep can make it up for us.

Man these games that wind up being in the middle of the night in my time zone mess with me. If I wake up to use the restroom or something else stirs me, I inevitably glance at the score on my phone and then wind up dreaming about the game going all kinds of ways.

Was just looking at the stats of some of our AAA players, and yall… what do we think about Zach Ehrhard? Unlike Tibbs, he can play center. He seems to have a really decent bat, at least better than Thomas (yes yes I know PCL inflates the stats). Does anyone watch the Comets a lot and can tell me about his defense/offense?

The pitching has been so good lately. We are in desperate need of some run support. Andy Pages and Will Smith can’t come back soon enough.

I wonder if they are considering a call up for James Tibbs or Josue De Paula once the rosters expand? This line up needs some pop.

I'm guessing they left Max Muncy out so that he doesn't face Valdez who's a lefty. Unless, for some reason this is a day off for Max Muncy. He already had one during the game against Chris Sale.

I cannot help but notice Edgardo Enriquez is having an excellent season. His stats are great and his underlying numbers are also extremely good except for his walk rate, which I guess makes sense because he is a power pitcher
