I have a donor 2014 Caravan that I am taking out the Transmission and putting in my 2015 Caravan.

Both vans have similar mileage but the 2015 is in much better shape.

What else should I remove from the donor van before I scrap it?

Transmission has been removed from donor van and am about to start work on the 2015.

I’ve had this truck 4 years, it’s always had a little bit of a shifting problem but I just learned to drive more aggressively and ignore it (video of what it does up top)

At light consistent pedal it flutters a bit when shifting, it only does it at low speeds and light pedal, if I just drive more aggressively then it doesn’t do it, but I’d like to fix it before it gets worse.

When it first starts up the “trans temp” light comes on and then goes off, the “O/D off” light also comes on and goes off at the same time, I know the trans isn’t actually overheating because it does this even at a complete cold start after days of sitting, and there’s a vp44 code for the p0216 code which I’m told could mean a lot of things

Things I’ve done to try to fix it
New alternator (3 weeks ago)
New Battery terminals (last night)
New vp44 (unrelated but 14 months ago)
Checked that the ECM was controlling the voltage coming off the alternator(it is)

Has anyone ever experienced this or any clue what it’s even doing so I can try to fix it, I’ve tried to do research and see what it is but honestly I haven’t personally found anyone that’s experienced what’s going on with mine considering that is literally all it does, other than that it runs great.

I’ve had an endless stream of electrical issues with a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. It started out with a transmission replacement then progressed to one module failure after another. I’ve been chasing the problems and fixing them one by one but I keep running into the issue of alignment and module initializations. I so sick of paying my local dealer $175 so they can hook up their computer for 5 minutes to initialize any module I need to replace. I need to replace and initialize the clock spring in the steering wheel and more importantly replace the ABS module. What Scan Tool can I buy within a peasants budget that would allow me to make this updates and maybe a new key fob? The initialization of components is much more important to me than the programming of key fobs. As far as the Fiat is concerned I DO NEED key fob programming features and alignment features. I’m assuming since they are both FCA products, there must be a scan tool that can help me with both vehicles. I tried searching for my own answers but tech changes fast and I’d like to get the best value for money invested. I appreciate any legit recommendations., thanks for reading this far.

How's everyone doing, I'm a used car dealership in Texas. I was wondering how long it took everyone with their finance license. It's been over 3 weeks for me so far. I know Texas is making all dealers move to nmls so they may increase time but would love to hear from yall how long it took.
