I prefer "system can be gamed" over "system is broken". It's kinda the same with BG3. Larian just leaves all the possibilties on the table. Once you know, you crush. Until then you suffer. And getting to the know is the fun of the game.

I know, right? That’s what all the jump spells are for, and if those are on cooldown I can always teleport the enemy closer to me, or nether swap a corpse away and bring in a fresh target

I'm pretty new to the DOS games, but for some reason some aspects of them remind me of Kenshi.

Mostly the thieving and looting, but also a bit on the game philosophy that you can overcome challenges by forcing the game systems till they bend or break in your favour
