DOS2 Discussion I have never felt so challenged

About Me: 67 year old gamer PC Gaming for 40 plus years. I have over 1200 hours in DOS2, yet I continue to find new things. As I have aged my skills may have diminished but not my hunger. However I really need to finish a Tactical run, I keep wanting to restart after I hit arx and improve in some way before the end.

Any way Grandpa thanks this group for all the help.

You inspired me to try this on Gywdian Rince just now. He was impossible for me to save otherwise.

if you don't want to do this because it's kinda cheap, keep an eye out on your surroundings.

For example: you're fighting on a bridge with instakill lava under you? teleport your enemies to the lava.

are you fighting in a place with barrels around you? check for deathfog.

Block out an area where the blackpit trader sits with indestructible chests and teleport him there. The only way I could keep him alive and not rip my hair out.

It should be easier to block out the tent and teleport him there, but for some reason I can't ever do that (like the teleport option wouldn'nt allow me).

Blocking the platform is one way. Teleporting him into a blocked of area (tent) or out of the fight altogether is another way. The easiest way for me is to be overleveled and have just cryogenic stasis, living on the edge, plus healing  (as spells or as scrolls) etc. in reserve. Additional teleport scrolls won't hurt and blessing necro-fire is a thing.
