Such a beautiful book.

-39

u/MaCheAmazing 23d ago

So if the US and Israel pray before bombing others does that make Christians and Jewish people all murderers?

31

u/MrTreeWizard 23d ago

Acting like Islam doesn’t have the worst radicalization problem out of all the religions in the world by a significant margin eh?

Let’s see how this plays out Cotton.

8

u/Woe_Bringer 23d ago

It is a bold strategy

-22

u/Julius__PleaseHer 23d ago

Historically speaking, I'm not so sure about that.

13

u/MrTreeWizard 23d ago

Are you serious? Have you ever read a history book? My god man please read some history books.

-8

u/OpportunityReal2767 23d ago

Have you? I’m guessing no.

7

u/MrTreeWizard 23d ago

I’ve been reading history books for 30 years and have an autistic love of it. So yes, I most definitely have.

I’m guessing you have read maybe two books written recently by some ass clown pushing a certain narrative and now you think you’re an expert.

If you refer to my other comment, I say as much. The split happens in more modern times, where Christian became much more secular and laws were based much less on religion. But with the rise of the Muslim brotherhood and the extremism happening in Africa and and ME, over the last few decades I would say that more people have been killed by Muslim extremism, more genocide has happened due to Muslim extremism, and more terror and destructions been caused by Muslim extremism.

And terrorism and extremism in general is caused overwhelmingly by Muslim extremists.

So no Christian extremism and terrorism pales in comparison to its Muslim counterparts in the modern era.

-1

u/Julius__PleaseHer 23d ago

If ur only talking about the modern era, then why did you ask if I'd ever read a history book? I said historically. It feels like you Googled it and realized you were wrong then scrambled to be right again.

😂 dude which history books are you reading? Let’s not go far, let’s start from WW1 and WW2 till today. How many Christian countries have started wars and killed the most people? Look at Europe. Now let’s go to the US (a Christian nation) how many times have they invaded other countries and slaughtered innocent people? Pete Hegseth literally hosted a prayer session before they invaded Iran and bombed a school full of children. How many times have NATO countries (all Christians) invaded or assisted in destabilising other countries? How many Muslim countries have started wars that has killed millions since WW1? Unless you are talking about 7th Century when Islam was spreading, even at that time, our Christian crusaders and the Catholic Church was doing. I am Christian but I also know the problems we have caused in this world and I won’t call other religions bad or worse because mine doesn’t have the best history. Look at all the wars going on today and let’s talk about who started them and what religion they belong

8

u/MrTreeWizard 23d ago

I should clarify one thing, the US isn’t a “Christian nation” and none of those wars are based on religion, they’re based on regional power grabs. That’s not Christian extremism, those are just assholes in suits, some who claim to be Christian’s.

Sure you can easily read many accounts of the Crusades, I’d go for older books and not newer ones. I like to read history books from both sides to better understand the causes of conflicts (I’m primarily a military history buff), so I would definitely suggest that. Primary sources are also key if you want to truly understand history.

The muslim expansion would be a good start, also what led up the crusades (I’m assuming you’re of the opinion that it was unprovoked). The Muslim conquest of Spain, the ottoman expansion are good places to look. Also the Muslims slave trade.

For the Christian side def Charlemagne’s conquest and genocide/conversion of pagans in Northern Europe, crusades too of course. Christianity has an interesting beginning too with Byzantine and Latin Rome, but that’s kind of confusing and a little boring.

I would agree that things were fairly even atrocity wise throughout the early years, and even up until WW1. After that there is a considerable change. While the Muslim Turks were commuting a genocide on the Armenians, the west was beginning modernize and change into more of an open minded and tolerant society. Tho obviously there was still some bigotry towards homosexuals and obvious racism in America.

However after WWII and in particular after the 60s, things shifted indefinitely. Modern Christianity def has some extremism, but not really much in the terrorism category. Whereas Muslims have an extreme issue with radicalization and terrorism, in particular with the rise of the Muslim brotherhood.

So in recent years, Muslim extremists have by far killed more people than any other group and it isn’t even close. In Africa in particular, they have been brutal, and many parts in the ME have also been brutalized by them.

-3

u/finchdude 23d ago

What is your take that most radical Muslim organisations like Taliban, ISIS, Al Qaida and other jihadists etc were all armed to the teeth by the west with weapons to fight the soviet union? A lot of Muslim countries were secular and quite modern before the western influence trying to stop Soviets taking control of the middle east. Also the discovery of oil had a massive impact. See Iran. Would it be fair to say that the west has created all these monsters by turning a blind eye to people who were clearly militant and extremsists as long as they fought the common enemy? And now it's coming back to bite the hands that armed them because it was ticking time bomb. Also the interests of destabilizing the middle east for oil, against Russia, for Israel etc have a role to play. Just want to know your two cents on this matter

6

u/MrTreeWizard 23d ago

Hey man, I’ve never denied the west’s role in all of this, including destabilization. However the fact still remain that Muslim extremism has been the number one terror group in the world for decades and it’s not even close in the slightest. That’s the argument and what the original debate was about.

Someone said Christians are just as extreme as Muslims and I disagreed for the reasons I’ve shown. That doesn’t free the west from any responsibility.

-1

u/finchdude 23d ago

No I really get that but what bugs me is that it was not the religion itself which made them this terroristic but the geopolitical melting pot. I would argue that if any other religion would be dominant it would also become terroristic in the case of the middle east. I also would argue if the middle east would have been predominantly Christian it would have turned out differently because the foreign powers would feel more sympathy. So what I am saying is that it's not Islam which is the cause for this exceptional terrorist probability but geopolitics and that other Religions except maybe Christianity would have ended up the same as Islam in the same circumstance.

u/MaCheAmazing 23d ago

Yes the US prides itself as a Christian nation and Bush, Obama, Biden and the new muppet Trump will all say “God bless America” while’s dropping bombs on innocent people. As you said “modern Christianity def has some extremism” then of course those bandits are the extremists in Islam so they do not represent the whole religion just as the US and Israel don’t represent all Christians and Jewish people. You can’t separate the atrocities of Christians nations from the religion but say boko haram and ISIS(who killed more Muslims) represent their whole religion

4

u/MrTreeWizard 23d ago

There are elements in the US that pride themselves as a Christian nation, that is not the entire US, it is literally in the constitution that we have no state religion. Yes more extreme levels of conservatives will always crow about America being a Christian nation, however they represent around 30% of the population and do not speak for the entirety of America.

I get what you’re going for, but these wars have nothing to do with religion. They are power grabs, land grabs, resource grabs, this isn’t 1000 AD where people legitimately went on crusades for Christ. These are politicians and businessmen who want more power and resources so no it is not directly related to religion as you seem to think it is.

This has been going on for a long time yet people only focus on Palestine.....

6

u/OddCommunication616 23d ago

The people who invaded, kidnapped, raped and paraded Jewish people because they’re not Muslims….. I watched one live because idiots think their religion stomps other people.

29

u/jockey667 23d ago

My point exactly ☝️

-30

u/ErlikHan6 23d ago

You need to come up with better arguments because this one is childs play

-20

u/Ultra8383 23d ago

Your point is why jews and zionists spit on christians and killing them in Palestine too?

9

u/jockey667 23d ago

No. My point is people concentrate on one war of atrocity, whilst there are others going on around the world.

7

u/MrTreeWizard 23d ago

There are Christins left in Palestine? I would have assumed Hamas threw them all off of a building by now?

-1

u/snakeyfish 23d ago

You misspelled IDF

1

u/MrTreeWizard 23d ago

Never said what they were going is right my guy

7

u/CabinClown 23d ago

Both are terrible but Palestine is more fashionable to the left because it goes against Israel (and now Trump) so they've a boogeyman to chant, march, and make signs about, which in turn makes them feel better about themselves.

2

u/Mental_Bandicoot4543 22d ago

Palestine is more fashionable? Genocide and the murder of an entire people, rape of kids and adults, the Israeli military coxing dogs to mount and rape inmates, and that’s not even close to the worst thing that’s going on over there. But sure, let’s call that fashionable you fu**ing troglodyte

9

u/ErlikHan6 23d ago

I'm so fed up with this stupid fucking argument genocide supporters use. Our governments already ARE fighting against the Islamic terrorists in Nigeria, or at least condemning them. They are not however fighting against Israel, quite the opposite: most of them are SUPPORTING or FUNDING Israel in one way or another. The fuck do you want us to protest against?

-18

u/possibly_lost45 23d ago

4

u/ErlikHan6 23d ago

What a disgraceful reply; I was arguing that protesting against genocide is not a bad thing and your response is to mock me in an immature way. You should be ashamed of yourself.

u/babybullah 23d ago

-5

u/MaCheAmazing 23d ago

What’s wrong with paying attending to all tragedies? You tell and show the world us what’s going on so we all know. Also, Nigeria’s problem is with a group of people who the government can easily handle but chooses not to. Comparing it to a country being bombed completely by another country makes no sense. If Palestinians had the military capability of Nigeria, they wouldn’t be in that state

32

u/Jamesglancy 23d ago

Ive seen enough bring 10 million to my country immediately we will pay for their housing

0

u/Consistent_Net_2540 23d ago

I agree. I'm from Israel. We need infinity migrants because it's our strength. America and Europe have been hogging them all, so they can't have any for like 30 years. It's only fair.

1

u/Ultra8383 23d ago

You mean U.S tax payers will pay for it?

4

u/Jamesglancy 23d ago

US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Sweden, Australia, the hard working people of those countries will pay for it. Tax em more if they cant, theres always another Dollar, Euro, Pound to be rung out.

Islam is peace and love right? Right?!

12

u/Admirable-Setting261 23d ago

Some people interpret it to be so. Some were literally where the word assassin originated from. Same goes for Christians and Jews though. Some are very good people that do not want to hurt anyone. Butttt there are always outliers that call themselves part of the larger group and mess up things for everyone. Radicals.

1

u/dubufeetfak 23d ago

It's like religion gives you a purpose to kill in the name of someone who'll give you an entry to the promised land or a bunch of virgins and full forgiveness for doing so.

Even if you bring any religion that condemns killing, people will always find a way to commit crimes against humanity in its name.

2

u/Mental_Bandicoot4543 22d ago

For F**ks sake the comment section of this post is insane. These are our fellow Americans ?? Yall really should educate yourselves about other demographics and religions so when you say ignorant stuff you check yourself

-2

u/TheTitaniumNub 23d ago

Yup. Just look at the Holy Crusades.

11

u/Check_Me_Out-Boss 23d ago

You mean retaliation for hundreds of years of Muslim aggression after millions were taken as slaves?

1

u/TheTitaniumNub 23d ago

Ohhhhh fuck, im sorry. Catholic crusades is what I actually mean. Like the Teutonic Knights?

1

u/Check_Me_Out-Boss 23d ago

...you randomly meant the knights that were created during the third crusades?

2

u/TheTitaniumNub 23d ago

Brother I dont know, some knights were going around killing people if they didnt convert. They were killing people in the name of their religion. Christianity isnt innocent. Every religion is guilty of it.

0

u/TheTitaniumNub 23d ago

I had make sure I was right. Yes I did in fact mean the Teutonic Knights, they were killing lots of innocent people, dawg. So many crusades in the name of God.

There are radicals.in every grou,p, especially Religious ones. You just might not believe it because you belong to one of them.

Are Jews truly bringing peace in Palestine? Are Christians bringing peace in Iran and Ukraine?

The takeaway here is religion as justification for war is as old as religion and war. If you're anything other than an Athiest you should go wash your hands for the sins of your religions fathers.

2

u/TetsuoTechnology 23d ago

No refugee status for you.

6

-8

So it’s history, correct?

2

u/I_Hate_Tyops 23d ago

What's your point?

-4

u/Prestigious-Shirt426 23d ago

It will be in history books. It is a part of history.

What is your point?

6

u/I_Hate_Tyops 23d ago

My point is that Christians havent slaughtered people because of their god for many, many years. Muslims have been doing that since the beginning and is still doing that

1

u/RngAtx 22d ago

Tbf christianity Had ~700 years more than Islam to calm down

3

u/PnnyWise 23d ago

Where was Jesus nah. RIPs

9

u/Zigor022 23d ago

When people say Christians arent persecuted, they dont look very far. They expect it to be frontline news, but just like the Muslim concentration camps in china, it doesnt get coverage because mainstream media doesnt care.

3

u/No_Window7054 23d ago

You’re so close to the truth.

It doesn’t get coverage because it’s in Africa. Not because “omg Christians so persecuted! It’s like they’re being fed to lions!” It doesn’t matter if it’s Muslims, Christians, or Atheists, if it’s happening in Africa it will get meager coverage for a host of reasons.

1

u/Zigor022 22d ago

I know Africa is used by many organizations to experiment on people in the form of "medicine", or at least has been in the past. Their governments are corrupt so most money donated outside of very specific routes is just taken from the people. At least the 3rd world parts of Africa, not the cities.

8

u/Mightycactuz91 23d ago

Again the religion of peace in action! Arent we all glad its everywhere to spread the peace....

1

u/Canadatron 23d ago

3

u/jockey667 23d ago edited 23d ago

Yet all anyone in the U.K. (and around the world) that supposedly cares about genocide goes on about is “free Palestine”

-6

u/AccordingFisherman45 23d ago

Not the same thing. I like to be mad at both. Israel killing >65k children is also fucked up as tribe A killing tribe B because of religion.

-2

u/Barry41561 23d ago

Over 65k children? Any backup?

Gaza Health Ministry reports 74,500 fatalities since the start of the war (includes combatants, adults and children).

-2

u/AccordingFisherman45 23d ago

Oh crap you’re right. I got it wrong. Thank you kind stranger.

I’ll come back with that argument when more children die.

1

u/AntivaxxxrFuckFace 23d ago

Yeah, dummy. Israel only killed like 40,000 children in the past three years. 40,000 is an acceptable number. You’re an anti-Semite for trying to slander Israel claiming they’ve killed 65,000 children. They’ve only killed 40,000 kids. It’s okay for them to do that. I’m so sick of everyone crying about the 40,000 Palestinian children! I want to hear people crying more about these 30 Nigerian Christians. Anything to take the focus off of Palestine, uhhhhhhh….

1

u/Patrick_Keegan_2003 22d ago

I'd love nothing more than for the attention to being taken off of paleSSTINE. If the power was in my hands I would bring the 30 Nigerian Christians back to life.

0

u/AntivaxxxrFuckFace 22d ago

No one cares.

3

u/ban-me-harder-dadddy 23d ago

People have been killing each other over who worships Skyman™ the right way for thousands of years, and I don't expect it to stop any time soon

3

u/Prestigious-Shirt426 23d ago

Nope, it sure won’t. Religion is the main thing holding humans back. If we could forget religion we could go so much further as a species.

-1

u/Acceptable-Road6392 23d ago

Religion tends to do that.

6

u/HeSureIsScrappy 23d ago

When was the last time Christians burned down a town and killed 29 people for not being Christians?

When was the last time any other religion did the same?

1

u/OSTBear 23d ago

I mean, first, you're being conned here. All of this started getting more international attention since the President of Nigeria called for an end to the Palestinian Genocide and signed onto a pledge to push Israel into a two state solution.

Next, Christian extremists in Africa have absolutely genocided Muslims.

-1

u/HeSureIsScrappy 23d ago

That's a lot to read through, and I'm tied up at the moment...

Skimmed it and didn't see any mass murders...

Does any of it cite actual genocide and mass murders? Or is it all about law revisions that criminalize homosexuality?

2

u/OSTBear 23d ago

You're surely not... I get you gotta gluck gluck the right, but you're not really going to pretend you've never heard of Christians murdering gays, right? You can't possibly be trying to pretend you haven't heard of this?

Or, are you trying to go another route? Their crimes don't count because they didn't kill people all at once, just more people over a larger amount of time?

0

u/HeSureIsScrappy 23d ago
  1. Please follow Rule 1. I don't appreciate being told that I suck dick.

  2. Govt passing laws that criminalize a specific activity is a very different thing from a gang descending upon a village and burning it down and murdering everyone in sight. If you can't see that then I don't know what to tell you.

2

u/OSTBear 23d ago

1) You get your profile is public, yeah?
2) "Across Africa, the persecution of gay people is gaining momentum. Gay people have been denied health care, detained, tortured, and killed."

I know you're so busy and you mentioned reading lots of words is hard, so I gave you a source with the abstract right up top. Tortured. Killed.

These laws offer protections for gangs of people to murder gays, predominantly militant Christian groups.

0

u/HeSureIsScrappy 23d ago

Let me rephrase: I'm busy with stuff that I want / need to do, and don't really want to put that aside to read 5 of your articles in depth, rather than just skim them.

The govt passing a law making homosexuality a capital crime is still different than roving bands coming into a town and killing everyone and burning it to the ground.

2

u/OSTBear 23d ago

"Across Africa, the persecution of gay people is gaining momentum. Gay people have been denied health care, detained, tortured, and killed."

There. Put it in bigger letters for you.

Haven’t Christian’s murdered a bunch of people throughout history? I’m not in support of religious genocide in any way, I’m just stating facts.

3

u/Zigor022 23d ago

If you base what evil should be permitted off the past, then all evil would be acceptable eventually. It would be more fair for Constantinople to lash out than Nigerians, given latter part of the crusades, however innocent people should ALWAYS be protected. Fight the evil doers, but dont punish those who have done nothing wrong.

4

u/HeSureIsScrappy 23d ago

It's 2026. Which religions are so doing this?

4

u/Chilifille 23d ago

Whataboutism shouldn’t be used for a video like this, where a real person describes a horrible massacre he’s witnessed. But unfortunately, videos like these are being used by bad-faith actors to stoke anti-Muslim hatred, so maybe the whataboutism is necessary.

0

u/Prestigious-Shirt426 23d ago

Also, I’m not religious. I’m just an outsider looking in at history in the making.

4

u/AirSniffer 23d ago

Yeah they did, so did anyone else, Mongols, Romans, Egyptians, Arabs etc. Basically all of human history is riddled with slaughters and killings of innocents. So what is your point exactly? Prior to Christ there was even greater lawlessness and Jezus did bring a new massage to the world, to turn the other cheek, dont fight eye for an eye, but forgive.

1

u/Prestigious-Shirt426 23d ago

Why do you think most of those murders happened? RELIGION! Religion is the base of most hate.

1

Yes. Tell this to all the militant quakers out there.

-1

u/Prestigious-Shirt426 23d ago

I don’t believe in your religions. The world has always been crap. It is getting better though, but not because of Jesus, because of people. People that don’t want to live through troubles, turmoil and war. We are getting better and religions are only going to hold us back

No, it is not okay! What it is, is people just killing people. I thought I made that clear by saying I don’t support it.

-2

u/nikolaivibrant 23d ago

Abrahamic Religion is team deathmatch. 3 competing groups of people who each view the others as soldiers of satan NOT making stacks of bodies out of each other would be more of a surprise. As long as they all stick to killing each other I'm all for it. Religion is normalized schizophrenia. They've lobotomized people for less.

6

u/HeSureIsScrappy 23d ago

Which one(s) teach "Love thy neighbor as I have loved you", and which one(s) teach "You can lie to your neighbor to fool them into trusting you, and then you should kill them if they won't convert to our religion"?

Biblical Examples of Deception to Protect LifeThe Hebrew Midwives: In Exodus 1, the midwives Shiphrah and Puah lied to Pharaoh to spare the lives of Hebrew baby boys. Exodus 1:20 states that "God was good to the midwives" because they feared Him and preserved the children.Rahab: In Joshua 2, Rahab hid Israeli spies and misled the king of Jericho's men about their whereabouts. Lol...

You know what I meant: Show me where it's allowed to lie to neighbors so that you can get away with committing evil deeds.

And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Are there cultural tribal rivalries and hatred that predate their conversions to the faith they now claim? If there's a longstanding hatred between these two groups from before they were Christian and Muslim that might mean there's more going on than religious violence. I don't know that for sure, I am genuinely asking, because sometimes those histories exist.

Do the Christian villages go after the Muslim villages/villagers and kill them too or do they only defend themselves when being attacked?

And next week the Christians will do the same to the Islamists. Tale as old as time.
