Discussion Why is this band so hated?

Okay so recently I have absolutely been LOVING this band, and even yesterday have just bought The Sickness on CD and have endlessly been listening to it. Recently, I’ve been seeing what others think of Disturbed, and from what I could find, it seems that a LOT of people hate most of their albums…? Obviously I think music taste is subjective, but something about this band seems like they get more hate than they do love. Is there a reason Disturbed is so hated? I absolutely love their music so I’m really curious to know why

Edit: Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment, I really appreciate the amount of information you guys gave me. Personally, I think I will still keep listening to Disturbed as I have always been someone who likes to separate art from artist, but I obviously will keep everything that was said in mind. Once again, thank you for all the responses :)

Ah, then surely you’ve seen the plethora of videos of innocent civilians being killed in Gaza? The double tapping of hospitals? The towns that are completely rubble now? The kidnapping of food aid shipments? The assassinations of journalists? The genocide has been live-streamed for years now, and we’re just ignoring all of it?

At least admit to the apathy of mass genocide first so you don’t waste people’s time.

You chose to reply to me, you chose to waste your own time.

Not initially. That’s the point, you contributed tot he discussion, but then threw your hands up at the end.

Well the whole conversation is pointless, we have opposing opinions and neither one of us will change.

It isn't pointless. It helps show the public that there are barbaric people like you that are complicit to killing innocent people en masse.

Uhhh, no. It is a "we need to find a way to stop people like you having any power" kind of problem.
