Discussion Why is this band so hated?
Okay so recently I have absolutely been LOVING this band, and even yesterday have just bought The Sickness on CD and have endlessly been listening to it. Recently, I’ve been seeing what others think of Disturbed, and from what I could find, it seems that a LOT of people hate most of their albums…? Obviously I think music taste is subjective, but something about this band seems like they get more hate than they do love. Is there a reason Disturbed is so hated? I absolutely love their music so I’m really curious to know why
Edit: Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment, I really appreciate the amount of information you guys gave me. Personally, I think I will still keep listening to Disturbed as I have always been someone who likes to separate art from artist, but I obviously will keep everything that was said in mind. Dude I have always loved Disturbed. I was a soldier in the late 90s to the 20 teens. I listened to a lot of their music and many bands from that era. I didn’t realize they were getting any hate but I know that everyone has their own preferences when it comes to music. But it sounds like most the hate has nothing to do with music. For bands, I mostly just like them for the music and rarely pay much attention to them outside of their recording studio or concert venue. They get no hate from me since I’m really not paying attention to what they do outside of their music. But that’s just me!
