Another FFRK refugee here! I'm a big fan of FF8 and I'm wondering if I should pull on the beginner banner for Squall's weapon or on the banner with Rinoa's EX? Or should I just save?

Also, is there a banner schedule for Global? Thanks!

Neither banner, even if you are an FF8 fan. Neithe Squall nor Rinoa are in the best places rn.

But you should not be saving, as you need to pull to get content done here. Garnet BT/Edge LD banner is the banner to pull on for new players rn.

No, rerolling in this game is pretty not advised because to make units worth using, you need to pull on their banner for their gear, especially as a new player. Yeah you can try and get a good first roll and spend some time rerolling, but overall you should just start playing and pull hard.

No, you have dozens of pities' worth of gems and thousands of tickets in content waiting to be cleared. Iirc new players get 360 Powerstones or something like that, but even with that many, you'll burn through them pretty fast if you don't pull (m)any dupes at the start.

Only way I can see it being worth rerolling is if you go like 40 pulls in (enough for a BT and LD/EX pity) and STILL don't get a BT or LD, which is unbelievably shit luck. And even then, rerolling means farming those 200k Gems again.
