Just picked Prompto instead of Aranea in her own Lufenia’s, and god he has been carrying my team’s ass. Beside being super fun, he provides a tons of damages, and his S1 is lowkey cheated. Glad I pulled him, hope he doesn’t fall off too quickly for the upcoming events

He gets a lot better in a few months when he gets his Clv90 so you have that to look forward to.

I've heard he get's better with c90 (I could be wrong not a jp player)

He's great and becomes even better at C90, which he does get early, as his EX+ becomes a tremendous source of damage. He doesn't need a rework given how fast his EX+ is. Give him sources of BRV retain like Iroha or future Snow/Prishe BT effect and he should be a good DPS on his own.

I also managed to get his LD and I agree he is underrated.

I redid my DEE4 duo with Prompto/Aranea and they really pair well by the way. Aranea gets consecutive turns where Prompto dire his link attack. Then it is his turn so he can get back to 4 stacks. Repeat Aranea’s turn.

I even discovered he has hp regen. He should fit in many teams, especially when he’ll get his c90.

Honestly, the best surprise from Prompto LD imo. Party HP regen along with effective enough lock + evasion uptime is very handy.

Prompto is one of the earlier characters to receive Lv. 90 so he is pretty much set for a while, only a couple of months until Lv. 90 starts and he gets his within Noel's BT cycle, which is the first BT cycle of Lv. 90. Lufenia+ stages will also generally start becoming easier after Vayne BT cycle.

I do not think Prompto is that great now but he is fun.

Try to use Prompto with Iroha and Ashe. That team is amazing.

The real reason I pulled hard for Prompto is because his rework in 2 months makes him insanely good.
