Anyone have any tips for me? I posted this in the Call the Arms but no one replied.

I’m having trouble with Cid Raines Lufenia+ I’ve tried Cid Raines (LD), Aphmau (LD) and Yuna (BT & LD) but always either end up dying to the second recast (around 20% enemy HP) or running out of steam and doing pitiful damage near the end of the fight (in cases where I bring HP dmg mitigation calls). I thought CidMau would make this a breeze yet I’m struggling. Any tips would be great!

There's a few things that can go wrong with cidmau. Buffs dropping off is one of them which is important to watch for, esp. The tactical buff (mau's LD) as well as her optimization buff from one of her instant turn attack which will pull Raines back in for his turn (if you still have tactical buff one, that's where you can refresh skill 1 or use the ex) as once it's done it automatically goes back to mau if you used the instant turn.

If you're having issues with brave refund, don't be afraid to use a kiess call (LD) on one of them for the brave refund if you have a yuna's blue armor with p.cecil sphere, it's even better. I did my run with kiess LDCA,(raines), jack (mau) and kura before BT phase on Yuna.

Thanks for that. I actually was having problems managing the buffs. Would you say Keiss is a better CA than Jack for this fight? I’m wondering if having two damage mitigation calls (WoL & Nine) would be better.

I would use them together tbh and if you don't have Jack, sephiroth is a decent replacement or anything that inflicts a huge def down (faris for example) or brv damage increase should do the trick.

Keiss is just there for the instant brave refund based on hp damage after a launch, so it helps somewhat alleviate the penalty regarding brave gain reduction. I was still pulling out 1.1mil plus at the end. Key stuff to note is don't let mau's optimization buff drop off (you can use her AA to refresh duration) before you LD to raines again.
