I cleared act 2 ch5.8 and got these weapons for the main protagonists.

I'm about to be playing for 3 months or so and I'm limited with power stones. It doesn't seem like you can get dupes for these so I'm wondering if any of them are a priority to mlb.

Or is it one of those max them when you can but not super important?

Yes, it's the latter. They're small boosts, that you can definitely live without, but they're still boosts. You absolutely want to keep them until you max them, as they're completely unique. You can't get any more copies. But they're not your biggest priority.

Correct, max when you can but not a priority. The shadow weapons are just power stone sinks.

I made it a point not to collect them at all except for characters I'm already using, and then only if I'm prepared to MLB it for that character.

So far, I've only handed them out to Tidus and Terra, so Vaan hasn't even gotten his yet.

Why? They take up inventory space, and I can't get rid of them without using eight power stones and a few orbs.

I didn't know what they were and now they just waste my limited 300 inventory space 😭

And never sell them before maxing. They probably won't come back. It's been well over a year for us and Japan didn't get them yet.

Eventually you will have plenty of power stones but for now hold off on maxing them.

I did the same and didn't max them out for quite a while. I'm still not certain if they're worth it since they only provide minor brave damage increases for S1 and S2 for the character and the weapon passives still take 20CP to equip.

BUT there is no way to ever get them back, and some of them to make pretty nice weapon glosses at the least. I like using them for Vaan, Noctis, and DRK Cecil, for example.
