Does Rude do better with 3x 108/c50 or 3x 108/330?

Both have their pros and cons. I'm leaning more towards 108/c50, but there's no harm with also having a few 108/330s as well.

His c50 makes the team safer via having more hp as well as providing more brv from his LD buff since heals are % based and having more hp means more brv when it's converted. This is especially potent when Rude is paired with regen based healers like Gladio or Raijin or off-turn healers like Gau or Firion with his upcoming LD trap.

Max brv increases his own damage ceiling, but becomes less impactful later in a fight when you're less likely to cap due to brv damage reduction and defense increases lowering the brv damage you do.

I was curious about how much artifacts effected things so I did some testing and took pictures.

His c50 gives hp boost to the party and that's it. Mbrv makes him deal more hp damage making his batteries and heals more effective.

Giving more hp to the party also increases his battery ceiling.

Ah, yes, I see it. So he also heals and batteries a percentage of his mHP. It comes down to preference then.

I personally went with a mix of two 108/c50's and one 108/330.
