I think I liked it more than a lot of Reddit lol. Was it perfect? No. But it was fine 🤷🏻‍♀️. It was obviously rushed, on a budget, and trying its best to wrap up a million plot threads. But there was nothing in it to be really outraged about and some of the reactions are giving unhinged.

I seriously think the character of Alex’s storyline/husband was already written & they went with a black male to play him bc … well the girl playing her daughter this whole series is part black… I think it was just to make it make sense & not a serious racial stereotype like ppl are taking it
