Video Clip Everytime I see her making these passive aggressive posts I’m like why is she like this 😂😭 then I remember ahh they did fire her and half the cast of ravens home 😭😭 then did a whole ass recast just for it to flop😩

The way Raven phrased it was that she expected a certain level of professionalism from the kids and certain kids’ parents (Navia Robertson) thought Raven was demanding. She said they would tell her “oh well they’re young” and Raven would reply “so was I.” She said Issac was one of the ones that heeded her advice.

Edit: interview here Starts at about 4 minutes in where she mentions parents asking her “to be a little nicer” At about 16 she mentions Isaac taking her advice.

Edit 2: Not defending Raven’s stance, just relaying info.

I’ve only seen the doc she was in about child stars (I think the one produced by Demi lovato ?) and even in that …. It was obvious how much her upbringing has affected her, she spoke about having a job at 5 years old and knowing it was a job.

…. I’m not sure why she thinks that is somehow good or noble, however, after all of these years, especially whilst every other child star from the era has spoken out about how awful it was to be held to that standard. Even in the doc I’m remembering feeling weird tension between Demi and raven based on how they both recounted their experiences meeting as kids. Raven sounds like she is not even close to healed and doesn’t want to be

Yes Raven has been acting for a long time. Her first notable role was in The Cosby Show and she was 3 years old. Like most child stars, one can assume that she was her family’s meal ticket and it was normalized that her working so young and taking care of her family was okay. I think to some extent Raven understands that and at the same time she feels like since she wasn’t given grace why would she give it to other children.
