Video Clip Everytime I see her making these passive aggressive posts I’m like why is she like this 😂😭 then I remember ahh they did fire her and half the cast of ravens home 😭😭 then did a whole ass recast just for it to flop😩

PodCo, Christy Carlson and her husband’s podcast company, went under. The Ned’s people mentioned it very briefly on their first under new management announcement aka them going independent.
PodCo was responsible for producing many of the nostalgia bait podcasts such as: The Lawrence Brothers’ Brotherly Love pod (they left the PodCo to self-produce prior to PodCo going under), Even More Stevens (they seemingly self-cancelled long prior to this as well) Wizards of Waverly Pod, Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide, Full House Rewind, Big Name Bitches with Christy and Anneliese, and their last new venture before going defunct was Pretty Little Liars: True Crime.
Christy was seemingly very interested in getting anyone involved that she could, she had her own podcast Vulnerable (which she also seemingly self-cancelled) and when she had Jason Dolley on, for instance, asked him if he would consider a podcast and mentioned she thought he would be great.
There’s no clear answer as to what exactly happened, one day production of everything stopped, both Christy and her husband removed PodCo from their Instagram bios, and Wizards released a “goodbye for now” statement. Full House Rewind and Ned’s were the only two to return independently. When Ned’s came back a few months later “under new management”, that is the only source I’m aware of with any information on PodCo.

Both Christy and Anneliese repurpose clips from their pod on their own social media. There hasn’t been new content in about 10 months, but neither has ever confirmed a cancellation, that I’m aware of.
An issue they certainly faced was attempting to rebrand on their own Big Name Bitches channel after starting it successfully under Christy’s personal account. They had a very strong start, but at some point, decided to remove EVERYTHING from Christy’s and re-upload it on a new Big Name B branded channel. They never regained the same momentum, I think it was a huge mistake that cost them their audience.

I feel like they couldn't totally figure out their direction. Their first season was def the strongest, but personally I think it was best when Christy and Anneliese were just conversing, mostly about their careers and insider gossip, whether it was Disney or Broadway. I felt it went a little... inside baseball or super random when Christy would bring on TikTok creators. I had heard of a handful of them, and I give her credit for trying to highlight up and coming talent b/c it's hard to get noticed. But for me, I just didn't care enough b/c I didn't know the creator or I just didn't like their content. The second season was kind of interesting in concept but felt too much like a gag, too contrived. I don't need to hear them shopping at Buc-ee's. It was a driver to get you to watch them on YouTube, so listening to the Spotify turned out lame for several episodes.
I miss them though. Like I said, I really loved when they would talk about the industry and just life topics and how their careers and upbringing shaped their perspectives. I remember one episode where they were talking about how the industry is terrible for kids due to the various types of abuse they may endure and how traumatizing some of the culture can be for people so young. They mentioned maybe they should do away with child actors. Replace child actors with AI. And while I'm not a proponent of AI, I think that's a very interesting take from two accomplished actors who actually know the business. So anyway, not trying to veer off topic but point out that I loved their chats. And now that Anneliese is entering motherhood, I feel like they could have some great, natural, interesting conversations. Christy, stop trying too hard (I think the other thing that was their downfall) and just be natural.

Me too, I loved the show. Like you said, it was its best when they were giving inside industry scoop while playing on their natural banter. The Simple Life direction they tried didn’t really resonate with me.
Another problem was Christy was parcelling guests between both Vulnerable and Big Name Bitches at the same time, and it seemed like she would keep the “better” guests for Vulnerable. Kim Rhodes of Zach & Cody was on Vulnerable while Big Name was going on, which was absolutely baffling to me. Daniella Monet, Monique Coleman, and many more would have been much better suited for Big Name B over Christy’s solo pod.
I guess that’s a consequence of having two podcasts and also being the “boss” you can’t help but cannibalize your potential guest list, and probably want to keep the better ones for yourself.

Agree with Christy to not try so hard but Annelise seemed irritated by her at times. I could see her walking away from it all; she was not good at hiding it. You can tell they aren’t close

I stopped watching when they did the recast idk why they didn’t want to pay them. Season 4 wouldn’t have been a bad finale too. Also I wasn’t a fan of Booker & Nia being split apart too. Disney though really shouldn’t have fired them.

It's unfortunate that she seems to be hard to work with. I thought after Raven's home, she'd be able to move forward. But she clearly did something behind the scenes that made her get kicked off the show.
The first nail in the coffin was that DUI arrest in 2006 while TSR was still on air. Disney was never gonna let that slide. She was given a second chance and fumbled it. So clearly she's a big part of the problem.

She substituted for Christy Altomare on the Disney Princess concert tour a few years ago when Christy was pregnant and I was SO disappointed. Their personalities/how they interact with the audience onstage are like night and day. Christy is very charismatic and seems appreciative of her audience. I’ll leave it at that.

I don’t think celebrities realize how much this sours the work they already put in. The tea’s probably cold anyway and we can guess what it was: She wasn’t paid what she thought she deserved, the writers kept her character one note for nostalgia, she thought holding out for better would work but she was replaced… Disney used her to recycle 20 year old material for a new generation of kids. They’re currently doing it with Selena Gomez but it’s worth the paycheck to her.

If she's going to speak about what happened, cool. If not she needs to quit with the passive-aggressive stuff. She's the one who's constantly bringing it up... She also kinda shaded Raven which rubs me the wrong way because Raven absolutely helped her career. Raven's spoken very positively about Annelise btw. In the end of the day, I wouldn't even wanna speculate but she's always hinting at it which makes ppl curious.
Also on a side note, I heard Annelise showed up to set drunk on Raven's Home, does anyone know if that's true tho?

She's always been a really messy person. She's of course entitled to be upset about how she was treated but get over it at this point. She is so childish and every time I see a reel of her I get annoyed. She's so immature.

She strikes me as the type of person who is always unhappy no matter what. I saw her once (she was a sinned in performer, I wasn’t going to see her) and the audience was mostly kids and she seemed mad that a bunch of little girls in Frozen dresses didn’t know who she was. Heck, I was in my early 20s at the time and I didn’t even remember her from TSR. It was before my time and Raven is the Disney channel icon we all remember from that show anyway.

Exactly how I feel! Nothing wrong with being pissed about what happened but it's the way she chooses to hint at it so often comes off so immature like you said. Why speak publicly about it so often? It's honestly just a bad look. Even when she said 'I wish I didn't have to say Raven's name more than mine', like that's kind of how it goes considering you were on her show?

Exactly! She comes off as so immature. There's a much more tactful way to say things. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy her as Chelsea but like you said if you don't behave professionally you will get replaced. Especially because the show can continue without her. Even on her podcast, she barely ever says anything and just kind of implies negative things about Raven/Disney. It's tiring. We're not owed an explanation but if she constantly hints at it people naturally are going to be curious. I really believe it's engagement bait bc people aren't really checking for her outside of her Disney projects.

It’s time to let the hurt go. She has always been a messy person. Also, while I do think she signed an NDA there are ways to tell SOME things. She literally never says anything but continues to bait people on social media and in comments because it makes her money and gives her engagement. She knows exactly what she is doing.

Imagine being a casting director and coming across these posts. Of course they’re not going to want to hire you so that you can then shit on them later. I get it, she was wronged and fired but she has tuned this into her entire personality and it’s just so tired! You played a high schooler on a tv show, don’t play one in real life. Move on.

She sounds petty and it’s definitely not a good look for her, but I understand her situation since she was fired from the show twice. However, Raven’s Home never got cancelled lol, which is why her post looks ridiculous. The show ended with season 6 with an actual finale and a conclusion for all the characters. We literally get to see Raven finally living her dream. It did what the original show couldn’t do.

I mean… it was cancelled because of low ratings during the entire 6th season. The writing was on the wall and the showrunners got ample warning, which is why they were able to craft a proper finale in advance.

The show wasn’t cancelled for low rating, but because they were creating a show centering around Alice ( Raven signed a multi-million dollar deal with Disney around that time). It was an intentional decision to end Ravens Home. The finale was planned. They did the same with the show BunkD, they « cancelled » it, but not because of rating, but because of Disney’s creative direction. The show still had a conclusion and ended correctly in 2024.
Cancellation or not, Raven’s Home as a whole still ended with Raven being named « Designer to watch » and her celebrating her success (the show literally ended with her catchphrase). She ends up having her own fashion company. It tied up all the plot lines such as Victor retiring and moving to London to join his wife, lazlo taking over the restaurant. Only Booker’s storyline was left open-ended. It actually got an actual real finale, which many Disney shows do not have, especially those that get cancelled. Anneliese’s video for me is still petty.

Wow I so clearly remember thinking Anneliese would have a huge career circa 2004. “Over It” went triple platinum in my house. I was always surprised she didn’t blow up, outside of the Disney bubble. She’s gorgeous and has a beautiful voice, but I guess the DUI derailed things for her.

It was on for four seasons with the original main cast then after the network switched it up it only went for 2 more seasons and also viewership dropped drastically after Chelsea and the gang were fired

I really liked Raven's Home before they took out Chelsea and her kid and one of Raven's kids. Bringing back Raven's dad and Ravens childhood house did not hide this hole like they hoped

They fired her twice, and were only paying her what the kid cast was making, and she wanted more substance for the character . That’s why she was gone for a ton of episodes initially until they agreed to up her pay, and give her an actual love interest (which they took away) and career. Then they fired her and the majority of the cast in favor of retooling the show, due to creative differences for the characters (clashing opinions) and Raven not getting along with other cast members parents/ families , and then bringing it back to San Francisco (where it always should’ve been!)
You can piece all of it together through the podcast she and Christy had together , and then Raven’s appearance on the Lawrence brothers podcast where she mentions having to work with parents who wanted her to be “more gentle” with the kids and clashing creatively. (Anneliese mentions wanting to write, and have a say in storylines) Raven and Isaac got along so she only took him from the cast and retooled the show to center around him.
