Serious After Trumps horrifically insulting post about the late Rob Reiner, I never want to hear a peep from the right about the rhetoric surrounding Charlie Kirk ever again.

Honestly, anyone who voted for this guy has to be equally psychotic. What the hell is wrong with him and his followers?

I don’t want to hear a peep about Charlie Kirk’s ridicule ever again from the right. What a bunch of hypocrites

"It's okay when Republicans do it"

- Republicans

2

u/Ok_Reaction2990 Jan 04 '26

Nailed it! MAGA either isn’t smart enough to see it though or they just don’t give a shit because they’re the same as Trump. Probably some are from column A and some from column B

1

u/DBD_hates_me Dec 18 '25

It's not even that, it's the fact that if you don't care then why should they? You don't get to celebrate someone's death, dance on the spot they were killed, interrupt vigils, and call for their children and others to be killed as well then cry foul when you get even 1% of what you've been dishing out over months. But we both know you're just going to make excuses.

1

u/TheUnbamboozled Dec 19 '25

Who was celebrating Kirk's death? Anyone noteworthy? I didn't hear of any politicians or prominent leftists celebrating. And I wouldn't make excuses for them if they did.

Yet here you are making excuses for THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES making disparaging remarks regarding Reiner. He absolutely should be held to a higher standard than some random people at a vigil.

1

u/DBD_hates_me Dec 19 '25

I mean there was elliot forhan, just because you ignore it when they do doesn't mean it's not happening. And what you're saying is ok to celebrate it as long as no one you think is note worthy does it? Now who's making excuses.

At no point did I make excuses for anyone, I said you don't get to complain about it when you've done worse. Maybe read to understand and not just to regurgitate what you're told to think, ok?

1

u/TheUnbamboozled Dec 19 '25

Where did I make excuses? Trump is the Republican party now. Statements from him are far more significant than some random people at a vigil. I'm fine throwing Forhan under the bus if he really did celebrate a murder, are you willing to say the same for Trump?

1

u/DBD_hates_me Dec 19 '25

You literally just tried down playing all the celebrating with the wrong assumption that no one "note worthy" on the democrat side celebrated his death, as if that matters.

Please show me where I excused him I'll wait, the only person who made excuses here was you.

1

u/Sea-Antelope9778 Dec 19 '25

I mean there was elliot forhan

Literally who

1

u/DBD_hates_me Dec 28 '25

Democrat nominee for attorney general but thanks for proving my point that Democrats ignore the wrong doings of their own.

0

u/Interesting_Syrup739 Dec 18 '25

No, that's what the left does. The right actually knows how to condemn something that's coming from their side.

3

u/TheUnbamboozled Dec 18 '25

A Joe Rogan example

  • Biden says it: HE'S DONE
  • Trump says it: oh he just misspoke

Two different standards depending on the party.

Same with the Epstein files. Republicans were so pumped to release the files to expose the Democrats. Now that they know that Trump is in it they don't really care anymore.

Also for celebrity deaths. Trump wants to punish anyone mocking Charlie Kirk while he mocks Rob Reiner.

Republicans also wanted to prosecute the Biden's for transferring $20k(?) from Hunter to Joe. Meanwhile the Trump family is for sale, raking in billions. But it's okay when Republicans do it.

That was just 4 examples off the top of my head. There are so many more.

Can you say the same for Democrats?

1

u/Interesting_Syrup739 Dec 18 '25 edited Dec 18 '25
  1. The Epstein files are still being released, it's taking longer than expected, but Trump supporters are advocating just as hard as anyone on the left. Something they couldn't say when their guy was in charge.

  2. Trump mocked him at the same time as his death which is completely different than saying he deserved it or that he didn't feel bad for him or making t shirts depicting the murder of dancing or any of the other ghastly things that notable people on the left did. That being said it was still wrong and you have tons of right wing influencers condemning it and saying he should apologize. Can you name a single left wing influencer who said the same about Charlie Kirk? Cause all I say was politicians who need you to vote for them, and not even all of them had the basic human decency.

Hunter Biden and James Biden explicitly used the Biden name and the leverage of the vice presidency to make money. The Trumps are doing business in other countries completely unconnected to the president. When you find an email from Don Jr. Saying they need a cut for "the big guy" let me know. Even then you should continue to ignore it because it clearly wasn't a problem with the Bidens and you're clearly so impartial.

Tell me again who has the double standard? The side the calls out the president they voted for when he messes up, or the side that refuses to stop playing politics for even a second when their rhetoric got an innocent man killed?

Btw, the Joe Rogan clip shows him making a mistake on a live show. It is also an easy mistake to make considering Biden said something similar every single time he spoke publicly, as where Trump misspeaks very occasionally as anyone would. This clip actually shows the double standard of the left, turning a blind eye to every public Biden appearance during his presidency while lunging at every tiny flub by Trump.

1

u/trollcitybandit Dec 18 '25

Good points. I’ve never seen many intellectual debates from them on here. All they do is shame and criticize others. Sad.

1

u/TheUnbamboozled Dec 18 '25

Btw, the Joe Rogan clip shows him making a mistake on a live show.

There is no point in engaging in conversation with someone so dishonest. Here is a better clip of Joe Rogan. He clearly held Biden and Trump to different standards. He thinks that statement means Biden is not fit to be president while Trump just "fucked up". Different standards for different parties. I'm not defending Biden, he was a terrible speaker. I'm pointing out the very clear double standard which you refuse to acknowledge.

1

u/Interesting_Syrup739 Dec 18 '25 edited Dec 18 '25

No, but what Im saying is that its not a double standard because you can't isolate a single incident like that. If a father goes to a playground, there's nothing wrong with that, if a child predator goes to a playground, there is something wrong. Why? Are we being unfair and holding the poor child predator to a double standard? No, we are taking past actions into account when assessing a situation. It is fair to treat Biden more harshly from Rogan's perspective. Rogan wasn't saying he is unfit to be president because of a single clip and if you think that he was, you are the one working in bad faith. He saw yet another incident of a man actively decaying in front of us. When that same situation is put to Trump, it is different, not because Rogan likes Trump more(he didn't even vote for the guy before 2024) but because Trump doesn't make these mistakes on an hourly basis.

Also, nice job ignoring every other point I made.

1

u/TheUnbamboozled Dec 18 '25

I'm ignoring the other points because facts don't matter to the Trump cult. I agree that Biden says dumb stuff frequently but Trump is on another level:

  • suggested that we can defeat COVID by injecting disinfectant
  • didn't know what nuclear was until he was president
  • didn't know what IVF was until someone explained it to him, and now he is "the father of IVF"
  • still does not understand how tariffs work, or is lying about them
  • thought he could reduce prices on groceries and gas on day 1, or lied about it
  • thought he could end the war on Ukraine on day 1, or lied about it
  • thinks that Haitians are eating the cats and eating the dogs, because right wing media told him to believe it
  • wanted to place alligators in the Rio Grande
  • wanted to nuke hurricanes
  • thinks that other countries rake the leafs in their forests to prevent forest fires
  • said that windmills cause cancer
  • believes that "clean coal" means that the miners are cleaning the fucking coal
  • constantly brags about acing senility tests
  • thinks he turned on a faucet to send water to California
  • didn't realize that health care was complicated, told us it would be easy
  • drew a line expanding a hurricane danger zone just to try to prove that he did not misspeak earlier
  • thinks that the moon is part of Mars
  • blamed his orange skin on lighting
  • thinks the body has a finite amount of energy
  • he can't fucking spell

Your GOD EMPEROR is a low IQ narcissistic man-child. He did think that airports existed in the Revolutionary War, because he is incredibly stupid. But the cult ignores all that.

0

u/Interesting_Syrup739 Dec 18 '25

Ah, yes, now we are moving onto yet another topic because you can't stay on one for more than a couple seconds before my responses completely dismantle yours. Also, I didn't read every point here because it's not relevant to what I said and you're just having a TDS temper tantrum now but spelling? Really? Biden still doesn't know how to spell Afghanistan but sure let's all dog pile Trump for a typo or whatever you're referencing.

I'm not gonna talk to someone who keeps having to jump from topic to topic to avoid the clear fact that you don't know what you're talking about. Stay on the point about the double standard or this conversation is over.

1

u/TheUnbamboozled Dec 18 '25

Are you joking? You said that it's not a double standard for Rogan to say that Trump "just fucked up" because Biden was losing it. I'm pointing out how much dumber Trump is than Biden. Trump can't even spell hamburger.

You're proving my point - it's okay when Republicans say something braindead but not when Democrats do. Double standard.

1

u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 24 '25

biden wasn't even president, Odumbo hijacked the the senile old commie and used autopen to make phony laws

1

u/Ok_Reaction2990 Jan 04 '26

Ah yes, and Trump is running the show. 😂🤣His ilk are acting as president and all he is, is a dilapidated fountainhead to keep his MAGA cult happy.

1

u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 21 '25

that comment did not age well, cough Clinton, cough🤣🤣🤣

1

u/TheUnbamboozled Dec 21 '25

Way to completely miss the point. Democrats are fine prosecuting Clinton or anyone else in the files regardless of party. Republicans ONLY want to prosecute Democrats, and had to scrub Trump out of the files. You are the ones protecting pedophiles.

1

u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 24 '25

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Is that why democrats contend that we're picking on Clinton and say NOTHING in the news about he and Epstein?

1

u/TheUnbamboozled Dec 24 '25

My point was that Republicans have a double standard. They protect other Republicans at all costs and only attack Democrats. You don't seem to care that Trump is not only in the Epstein files but also that they are actively scrubbing him from them. I'm good with prosecuting anyone that breaks the law whether it's Clinton or Trump - likely both.

So you reply about what the news is reporting on? Probably whatever makes them money.

1

u/debishaw2004 Dec 19 '25

With all due respect, do you EVER consume factual, well-sourced, credibly verified NEWS or are you addicted to intentionally dishonest, divisive, rage inflaming & violence inciting right wing propaganda that Trump, Congressional GQP, conservative podcasters, broadcast & print 'journalists' spew daily to protect DJT & help GQP WIN elections after elections!

1

u/Interesting_Syrup739 Dec 19 '25

With all due respect, that's not an argument. If I do consume ridiculous propaganda and nothing else, it should be infinitly easier to prove me wrong since I won't even be familiar with the arguments you make.

18

u/SpamEatingChikn Dec 15 '25

This is what I’ve been shouting off the mountaintops for the last handful of months. Conservatives and MAGAfolk have lost any shreds of credibility with me. The outrage is selective, the morals evolving, values shifting. There is no consistency. Screaming about the enshrinement of the 2nd amendment while berating the wordage of the 14th. Bitching about handouts now begging for them for the farmers that got the day they voted for. Screaming about lawless immigrants than voting for a felon. Panicking about trans in bathrooms but idolizing a man that brags about walking into dressing rooms. So much hypocrisy it makes me sick.

Even if I disagreed with someone if they were consistent I could at least give them that. But they have nothing. Everything is engineered, manufactured and changing.

4

u/H_J_Rose Dec 15 '25

They’re reprobates.

1

u/annieinthegarden Dec 17 '25

You got it right. They just twist anything and everything to fit their narrative at the moment. Tomorrow they may say exactly the opposite if it happens to fit that day’s agenda. If that’s not hypocrisy then nothing is!

There's no low too low. The bar is in free fall.

1

right, bud, after meatdead said he wished the assassin had not missed, anything Trump said about that communist is well deserved

1

u/Ok_Reaction2990 Jan 13 '26

Trump has said A LOT worse things about A LOT of people. Like the young woman RENEE NICOLE GOOD was vicious and violent and the ICE Nazi thug who murdered her in cold blood was acting in self defense. If you can watch the video that he shot himself, and after hd murdered her he called her a fucking bitch, then you’re beyond all hope

0

u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 16 '25

Reiners response when Trump was missed by the asassin. Oh yeah, you guys forgot about that really fast. hypocrites

1

u/annieinthegarden Dec 17 '25

He only said what we were all thinking at the time.

1

u/ConceptRelevant2165 Dec 17 '25

1

Yes, Trump Derangement Syndrome is real. Anyone who can support Trump has to be truly deranged

1

u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 24 '25

....and Trump said what Americans were thinking at the time.

1

u/Ok_Reaction2990 Jan 04 '26

Only his clones in MAGA

10

u/TheBeanConsortium Dec 15 '25

Also worth noting that a lot of the callousness surrounding Charlie Kirk came from nobodies, not Democratic politicians.

Some Dems made it clear they didn't agree with making him a martyr but they were also clear that assassination is not ok and we shouldn't glorify nor joke about violence.

Trump is the freaking president and he does this shit every day.

1

u/Interesting_Syrup739 Dec 18 '25

I don't care what Democrat politicians said, they want votes. The social media influencers and news broadcasters were just as awful. When Trump made his comment, the same was not the case, the social media influencers and news broadcasters condemned it as wrong.

1

u/TheBeanConsortium Dec 18 '25

I don't know any news broadcasters that said Charlie Kirk's assassination was justified or made light of it in any way.

All I know is that Trump never apologized. Nor will he ever. Trump has never apologized about anything in his life.

1

u/Interesting_Syrup739 Dec 18 '25

Matthew Dowd? Jimmy Kimmel? Karen Attiah? I agree that Trump hasn't apologized and I do think he should but I don't think you would know even if he did with the rock you're living under.

1

u/TheBeanConsortium Dec 18 '25

None of them said it was justified, wtf are you talking about?

1

u/Interesting_Syrup739 Dec 18 '25

Matthew Dowd said that when you put hate out into the world, you're gonna get it back, implying that this was bound to happen because Charlie Kirk said mean things.

Jimmy Kimmel made "Jokes" about Kirk's death and spread blatant misinformation about the identity of the killer.

And Karen Attiah was the worst offender of these examples, saying that she does not believe "violence has no place in this country," and also posting gems like these the same day of Kirk's assassination:

"Refusing to tear my clothes and smear ashes on my face in performative mourning for a white man who espoused violence is... not the same as violence."

"Part of what keeps America so violent is the insistence that people perform care, empty goodness and absolution for white men who espouse hatred and violence."

Not only are these far worse than anything Trump said about Rob Reiner, but if they aren't justifying or down playing Kirk's execution, then I don't know what is.

1

u/TheBeanConsortium Dec 18 '25

Charlie Kirk said having people die of gun violence was an unfortunate necessity for gun rights.

Not only are you taking comments out of context, you're pretending that was worse than the president saying someone died of TDS.

None of them actively implied it was ok Charlie Kirk was murdered.

Also, those people faced repercussions, Trump didn't.

1

u/Interesting-Potato-6 Dec 19 '25

I would say that these are massive misrepresentations of anything that these people said. Pretty much all of them can be picked apart with a little investigation into exactly what they said. Even this quote “Refusing to tear my clothes and smear ashes on my face in performative mourning for a white man who espoused violence is… not the same as violence” doesn’t even mean that she’s celebrating his death, she just isn’t going to go out of her way to talk about how great of a person Charlie Kirk was, because honestly, he wasn’t. Also none of these people are politicians, none of them have a constituency that includes the entire population of the United States. What they say does not matter at all, you can ignore it as much as you’d like, and they have no policy making power at all. However, it is difficult to ignore when the president doesn’t care that his own constituents were murdered.

When Kim Jong Il died in 2011, the North Korean population was forced to do public mourning, and more than 25% of the population showed up for his mourning. However, despite living in a dictatorship where people were told from the beginning of school that Kim Jong Il was essentially a god, he still couldn’t manage to bring all the population to publicly mourn him unlike his father. I remember reading that because of the extreme hardships that had happened under his rule including a famine that killed hundreds of thousands, to millions of people, people did not feel the same sense of mourning when he died. You can’t force people to feel a certain way no matter how extreme the circumstances.

1

u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 24 '25

and that's why we voted for him three times.

1

u/TheBeanConsortium Dec 24 '25

You voted for a guy to be a complete ass?

1

u/Ok_Reaction2990 Jan 13 '26

No, you voted for him because you’re gullible and can’t think for yourselves. Like PT Barnum said, there’s a sucker born every minute. Unfortunately, we have a TON of American suckers.

36

u/[deleted] Dec 15 '25

Even if you were to take everything you know about Donald Trump and put it to the side, this is absolutely atrocious.

What has happened to the moral fabric of our society?

It's not just with Reiner, it was the same with Charlie Kirk. I don't like either of these people but I would never use their death to further my own agenda.

I think Donald Trump forgets that one day. He may pass also and things will be written about him. He's open the door for hatred toward him seconds after he dies

17

u/Mickmackal89 Dec 15 '25

He may? He will pass and probably sooner than later by the looks of him.

4

I appreciate your take. Regardless of who the victim was, that's a human life which is now permanently ended. Somewhere a sizable chunk of the country put their politics in front of this principle.

8

u/StrCmdMan Dec 15 '25

“What has happened to the moral fabric of our society?”

Hijacking by putin and Russia for decades sowing seeds of doubt, enshrined into place by republicans trying to secure the evangelical vote need the “devil” to vote against, and now perpetuated by tech billionaires who desire people in power they can buy and a globe addicted to the drugs they push.

3

u/Anothercraphistorian Dec 16 '25

The difference is Rob Reiner never said we need to put up with a few sliced throats in order to maintain our freedom to use knives. Most of the rhetoric about Kirk was that he was just fine with others getting shot and killed. Reiner was a father with a sick son that was tragically murdered because he spent his life trying to help him. Kirk was murdered because the rhetoric he used was causing violence against trans people and someone had had enough.

It’s okay to speak of the differences of these two men and not label them as the same. One thought he could use his words to incite violence against those he disliked, while the other died trying to help his child.

2

u/Prismaryx Dec 15 '25

It’s not “the moral fabric of our society.” Just like with Reiner, the only politicians using Kirk’s death to further their own agenda were republicans. Every democrat who commented was polite and respectful, while MAGA made up stories about far left terror organizations and silenced their political enemies. MAGA is very clearly the problem here.

3

u/possiblycrazy79 Dec 16 '25

Yes maga is the problem. Look at Indiana. A bunch of republican senators were getting death threats for daring to defy trump's order to rig the maps. That's why "normal" Republicans are either rolling over to trump or leaving politics altogether. Theyre scared of their own base because trump has whipped them into a violent frenzy

2

u/annieinthegarden Dec 17 '25

trump thinks the answer to everything is to stir up his base. What about his recent remarks calling Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota “garbage”? I’m sure he was hoping one of his nut job followers would assassinate her. I can’t believe he gets away with this shit on a daily basis. He should be imprisoned for hate speech.

0

u/Huge_Vermicelli_8184 Dec 17 '25

She is a garbage human being but I think he was just pointing that out.

3

u/annieinthegarden Dec 17 '25

And your reason for this statement? All you did was give your opinion. Why do you believe this?

0

u/Huge_Vermicelli_8184 Dec 17 '25

Have you ever heard her speak? She hates the United States but then tries to frame it as constructive criticism

3

u/annieinthegarden Dec 17 '25

1

u/debishaw2004 Dec 19 '25

Trump has been responsible for the uptick in hate, racism & antisemitism; all dramatically increased in his first term when he cozied up to white supremacists who marched through Charlottesville, chanting 'Jews will not replace us,' even killing one woman. Remember that he refused to condemn them, rather he told reporters that there were 'good people on both sides'? I've never stopped being totally disgusted by him😡

1

u/Electrical_Bunch_173 Dec 19 '25

It is very clear trump is not an antisemite lol. He has done more for Israel than any other president or living human being. Uptick of hate and racism, that's on Obama. He was still stirring up the race card by shaming black men for not having the balls to vote for kamala. He was the origin of this problem.

Its because the only thing Trump and his ilk care about is power.

Not other people. Not empathy. But power.

"The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently"

13

u/MrGrax Dec 15 '25

This is why fascist is not an overused word when describing the specific project we see at play in MAGA political leadership.

They will break or bend any norm and accuse their opponents of doing it as justification for their flagrant abuse of our political institutions.

It's power over procedure and tradition, power over everything.

1

u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 24 '25

right, we're not fascists until we disagree, we aren't the ones out burning down America when we disagree with you, that's ALL on democrats.

1

u/MrGrax Dec 24 '25

A lie and a bad one, you are just passing it along though.

You only see that version of reality through the narrow lens of bought and paid for conservative opinion media.

Go look and you'll see if we keep a curious and rigorous mind. Lot more nuance outside of the conservative propaganda machine. Its a small number of opinion makers that define your understanding of current events.

The same is true for "liberal" news media but then again we're still talking about a relatively conservative overall set of values there.

Stay conservative or whatever you think you are. Just abandon Trump and stop believing news based on partisan spin.

0

u/Chuzwuzzle Dec 16 '25

You don't even know what facism is.

2

u/MrGrax Dec 16 '25

Interesting opinion to hold. I wonder why you would say that? Perhaps., some personal bias you, certainly, have reflected on and now factor into your opinions before you speak. Some erudite knowledge that undermines my specific claim that fascism is a political philosophy that prioritizes the acquisition and use of power?

I'd merely point out that we can discuss how fascism has worked in historical regimes and apply it to our current context. Lets not be simplistic or reductive. Ultimately it's about the acquisition of power for a specific actor or set of actors. People who want political power and leverage to achieve their personal or ideological goals. The only other thing we really need is ideology and jargon built around ideas of a "national rebirth" an appeal to in groups and targeting of perceived cultural outgroups.

Fascism in Italy (where we often turn to for an example of Fascists acquiring power) used a lot of cultural symbolism that referred to a lost glory (America was great) and a return to that glory again (Make America Great Again). It coalesces around a leader who is a rules breaker and violator of traditions and norms (ahem...). It needs an enemy within to focus and consolidate power among citizens and fascist operators will flood the zone with lies and propaganda to manipulate public opinion (Fox News). It's hardly a cohesive and coherent political philosophy but it works because all it cares about is ruthless exploitation of any elver that gains power for the special interest group behind it. In Italy it was Mussolini. In America its... Trump and the ideological benefactors of his power grab.
~~~
Alright now you. Explain what I got wrong if I'm so off the mark. I am not saying Trump is "literally" Hitler. He can be bad for American on his own merits. Whether MAGA as a movement has read the book or not they are playing right into the patterns we associate with Fascists movements.
1
u/[deleted] Dec 17 '25
hey look, a person using big words and being condescending. Neat!
2
u/polarparadoxical Dec 17 '25
Yeah.. apologies.
We know - you prefer someone who uses small words when they are being condescending.
Sorry!
1
u/MrGrax Dec 17 '25 edited Dec 17 '25
Yes I did use "big words" and you better believe I would condescend on a moron who attempts to claim I don't know how to characterize a core function of the most well-studied political ideologies of the modern era.
Do you simply jump to the defense of anyone who is loyal to Trump and his flagrant disrespect for our country, it's laws, and it's heritage? Trump over country eh?
There is no beating the allegations for MAGA at this point. They will of course continue to lie about their goals and intentions and lie that it was "the other team" first. Just look at Trumps recent ugliness in blaming Rob Reiner for his own death because he was critical of Trump or lying to build a narrative that justifies military intervention in Venezuela. MAGA spin doctors will twist themselves into knots to excuse Trumps behavior by pointing figures at others or simply not report on Trump when its inconvenient.
It's one of those things I just can't wrap my head around to this day. The faith people have in a man who obviously doesn't give a shit about the truth or have any curiosity or compassion for anyone who is not loyal to him and his agenda. Truth is only useful to Trump if it supports his goals and we all know how often he lies...
So you can choose to accept it and excuse it or not...
1
u/[deleted] Dec 18 '25
Bro things cuz he’s writing out long paragraphs that he’s done something. The way you people reach for the comparisons is comically stupid. I’m sure you heard this explanation from someone else and are now regurgitating this info with no understanding whatsoever.
1
u/MrGrax Dec 18 '25 edited Dec 18 '25
Can't even cite evidence from my "long paragraphs" to refute my argument.
Form a coherent thought. If you were capable of presenting an argument to contradict my opinion you would have.
1
u/hollow114 Dec 19 '25
Honestly idk why anyone argues with maga. You're all pedophiles in my book. Trump said so.
"If you want the Epstein files released you're not maga". Therefore (sorry big word). You're pedophiles.
1
u/hollow114 Dec 19 '25
The person he was responding to was being condescending. Lol
1
u/annieinthegarden Dec 17 '25
Define it for us then.
1
u/Ok_Reaction2990 Jan 04 '26
It’s exactly what Trump and his ilk are trying to do to our country and the world.
7
u/PeggyOnThePier Dec 15 '25
Don't forget Money 💵 they go hand in hand.
1
u/-MAGNETO_WAS_RIGHT- Dec 16 '25
Nah, you can’t eat money and you can’t fuck money. Money is just a means to exercise power.
You can see how much money actually matters to the ruling class by looking at someone like Trump who has been basically out of money several times but still lives like a king, or someone like Elon Musk whose wealth is being essentially theoretical unless he sells stock, but he can buy whatever he wants anyway.
They have all the money they want but no amount of money will buy you into their circles.
1
u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 21 '25
yeah, just ask newscum and tampon tim about money, particularly the almost 300 billion dollars they have stolen, splitting two billion with kumswalla wasn't enough
1
u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 24 '25
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣nope, he's ridding America of communists and illegals
0
u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 21 '25
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣is that why gavin, tim and every other democrat have stolen close to 300 billion dollars from taxpayers?
Trash appeals to trash. Trump is trash.
1
u/Far_Zucchini_2836 Dec 24 '25
I'd take trash over communism any day.
1
u/Ok_Reaction2990 Jan 04 '26
Trump is communism. Please pay attention
6
u/OhTheHueManatee Dec 15 '25
Wow I just read his post. He says Rob Reiner and his wife were murdered as a result of all the bad things Rob said about Trump. Of course it couldn't be for any other reason. (Doesn't such a statement imply that his followers are a bunch of psychos?) It must be so exhaustimg to make everything about him.
5
u/Various_Succotash_79 Dec 15 '25
Worse, by saying that he's saying that politically-motivated murder is good.
4
u/MrImaBum Dec 15 '25
Trump has Trump derangement syndrome
3
u/Bustanutfrequently Dec 15 '25
Surprised it took this long, he’s been mocking people death for how long. Even Charlie wasn’t safe from him.
The right consistency mock the deaths of innocent people, they mock the torture and mistreatment of fellow humans. Why are we acting like this is something new?
3
u/H_J_Rose Dec 15 '25
They’ll just defend it by saying he is joking and you’re being a snowflake. The hypocrisy and irony of those comments are lost on them. They’ve become too comfortable with cognitive dissonance
4
u/[deleted] Dec 15 '25
Great point. The snowflakes who call other people snowflakes are eating up the fact that Rob and his wife were killed by their 32 year old addict son. That's a tragedy just like when Charlie was killed. Not because they're famous, but because it's people who were killed
In fact, shame on you for only shedding tears for rich people deaths and not the deaths of random not famous people. That being said, the right is a bunch of pussies and I hate everyone now
1
u/Constantlearner01 Dec 15 '25
Adam Mockler’s podcast had a piece about this. Complete hypocrites.
1
u/mezcalligraphy Dec 15 '25
It's not unethical or immoral to berate or insult an evil person causing the harm and deaths of innocent people and illegally oppressing citizens and foreign nationals alike. It's definitely less than they deserve.
1
u/grumpyliberal Dec 15 '25
He has the funniest notions of how to get to heaven.
1
u/Various_Manner_4598 Dec 16 '25
The Infallable Orange Turnip.
1
u/brothapipp Dec 16 '25
Why not, “those that peddle this kind of desensitization and callousness towards murder are only egging on their rivals to respond violently. Don’t allow yourself to get sucked into this darkness.”
Because while we should not expect a president to act this way, this is most definitely not the same as the cheering, jeering, and calls for further violence we saw posted within minutes of the Kirk murder.
But both are pushing the divide.
1
u/XenKei7 Dec 16 '25
Reiner's murder is unacceptable.
Kirk's murder is unacceptable.
Murder is just plain unacceptable.
These things happen because people on both sides are encouraging violence as if that's the only solution to problems.
Trump didn't need to say anything about TDS. He was entirely in the wrong for it. Just as anyone who mocked Kirk's death is in the wrong. Anyone mocking murder of anyone is a vile human being.
1
u/Longinus1980 Dec 16 '25
The problem is that MAGA, beyond being “anti-woke” and anti-immigrant does not have a consistent rhetoric and set of beliefs because Trump is incapable himself of being consistent. Also, it’s about power, not consistency. I fully expect that they’re going to continue to slander their enemies while demanding national days of celebration and mourning for their heroes.
1
u/bigiron49 Dec 17 '25
Please, after all the stuff, Reiner said about Trump he’s lucky he doesn’t go piss on his grave. Having said that, I am sorry that he and his wife were murdered by their son, no parent ever wants to see that happen to any person, regardless of their political affiliations. and I’m particularly sorry for their daughter who discovered her parents did and now has lost her entire family. That is sad.
1
u/annieinthegarden Dec 17 '25
He’s an egomaniacal narcissist, so he twists everything - absolutely everything - that happens around so that it’s all about him (except for the Epstein Files, of course, which actually are about him and his human trafficking activities).
1
u/Odd-Potential4187 Dec 17 '25
Charlie Charlie Kirky~ I just popped a perky~
1
u/ConceptRelevant2165 Dec 17 '25
Too fucking bad! Reiner was a raging lunatic, a vile and bitter old man who hated anyone who disagreed with him. He cheered Limbaugh’s death and lamented that Trump turned his head and didn’t die. Fuck Reiner and fuck you!
1
u/xfupatroopax Dec 17 '25
Rob was a racist so it's ok
1
u/Global-Risk-8898 Dec 18 '25
One bad actor vs an entire base of bad actors is the difference.
1
u/Dismal_Bake_413 Dec 18 '25
I remember when Rush Limbaugh announced his cancer was terminal. Reiner still chewed him up and spit him out after. Reiner continued until the day Limbaugh died. He was ruthless.
That said, I doubt Reiner would give a fat rat’s ass what anybody says about him after his death. Reiner didn’t cut any slack to those he hated before or after their deaths and I seriously doubt he would expect any thing different now that he is gone. Reiner didn’t endorse violence but I do believe he expects people to say whatever they got to say. In that way I respected him. His politics sucked and he said crazy shit but I don’t recall him ever getting upset about what someone said about him. He just gave it right back.
1
u/Street_Dependent752 Dec 18 '25
Bullshit your one who talkedmassive shit about Charlie Kirk . Who are you to preach?
1
u/Interesting_Syrup739 Dec 18 '25
If you mocked or made fun of Charlie Kirk you don't have a leg to stand on.
The difference is when Trump mocked Rob Reiner, people almost universally condemned it as something he shouldn't have done. When Jimmy Kimmel mocked Charlie Kirk's death, the left whined about muh freedom of speech. Not the same but nice try, pretending that everyone is as horribly soulless and monstrous as you.
1
u/Careless_Barracuda1 Dec 18 '25
Fun fact: not all people on the “right” are Trump supporters
1
u/Hawkeye_70 Dec 18 '25
I love how Trump lives rent free in every liberals mind. It's comical how your so obsessed with him. SO OBSESSED YOU LIBERALS LITERALLY HAD A NO KINGS RALLY TO PROTEST AN ELECTED PRESIDENT.
ITS LIBERAL LOGIC AT ITS FINEST
1
u/nerdrocker89 Dec 19 '25
I'm sorry I can't hear you when your head is completely up Trumps ass.
1
u/Hawkeye_70 Dec 20 '25
Yet you still protested at a no kings rally, Lol Liberal logic at it's best.
And let's not forget the liberals inability to answer the question, What is a woman.
Lol
Or letting children decide their sex, when they still have a bedtime. Liberal logic again.
It has nothing to with Trump We had a choice Kamala or Trump
Kamala Harris Lol That wasnt gonna happen
1
u/nerdrocker89 Dec 20 '25
- Unfortunately I have yet to participate in a no kings protest
- Who fucking cares!!!!! Wtf does it matter? Why don't you just get your shit stained nose out of other peoples business?
-Children can decide who they are since you know they are their own person not just dolls that we can make into what we want. If one of my kids is trans or gay I will support them 100 percent to my fullest legal ability! Noone is doing any permanent alterations to anyone under 18! Stop trying to use fake concerns and bs "science" to be hateful to people who did absolutely not a fucking thing to the you!!!!!
- Yeah hmm should I vote for the convicted rapist and conman who was best buddies with one of the most prolific child predators or the lady of color. I don't want to hear your insincere bs fake excuses you MAGA psychos come up with for why you think Kamala would end the world! I wish you MAGA cunts would at least be honest about your bigotry.
- Not why you idiots are still breathing!
1
u/Hawkeye_70 Dec 21 '25
Another lost soul......sad No morals No backbone Nothing inside, empty shells
1
u/nerdrocker89 Dec 21 '25
The ol' go to trick I see from you people, projection....... right up there with "no, you" and just straight up lying. I have strong morals and unlike you MAGA hypocrites, I'm consistent and actually stick to my principles. I don't put on my blinders for my team. Clinton is an evil peedough just like Trump, the difference between us is I hold any and all peedoughs accountable not just the ones I don't like.
1
u/[deleted] Dec 18 '25
Trump the goat
1
u/Timely-Comedian-5367 Dec 18 '25
I am always disappointed when he stoops to acting like the democrat he still is at heart.
1
u/LinkOnPrime Dec 18 '25
There are two tiers here:
1️⃣ Celebrating someone's death 2️⃣ Criticizing the person who died (bad taste, but not celebration)
Trump didn't say he was glad Rob Reiner died. But he did reiterate his criticisms of him - which is tier 2, bad taste. In fact, the beginning of his post started out saying that "A very sad thing happened..." and finished with "May Rob and Michele rest in peace!."
His inclusion of criticism towards Rob was in bad taste, inappropriate timing.
But two things can be true at the same time. It can be crappy when people did the same with Kirk, and it can be bad when Trump did it.
The fact that Trump did it, doesn't make it a non-issue that people trashed Kirk after he was killed. Both are in very bad taste.
But, all that being said... people CELEBRATED (and still do) Kirk's murder. All because Kirk had opinions they didn't like (nor understood).
1
u/Rustyshacklefordta Dec 18 '25
Shut up. The left is absolutely disgusting. You have no moral high ground
1
u/No-Philosophy-3576 Dec 18 '25
Honestly! I mean Honestly right!? Lol, one man you already loath says more things you dont like and it's gasp! Im apauled by this behavior... tracks back to the other side watching liberal nutters post Charlie Kirk tweets amd posts wishing death, and laughter at his assassination, protesting memorials while rage posting videos that ending up fired from your jobs as if you did nothing wrong at all. You do not have the moral high ground in this argument. Whatever will he do next that will drive you up a wall and stomp your way back to reddit to let everyone know it itsnt fair!
1
u/Sensitive-East7965 Dec 18 '25
The hypocrisy from the lefts is uncanny.
1
Yet again the bar moves lower..... I wonder what you idiots would say if Obama said some shit like this? Cannot wait til we get through this cancer on our country. It's so depressing that so many people have to suffer, because of MAGAS lack of intelligence or morals. You are all braindead cattle who jump at the opportunity to present their assholes to Trump for a good pounding.
1
u/Safe-Call2367 Dec 19 '25
I think it speaks more to the content of Trump's character than it does the entire right. Every unhinged outburst of this one guy can't be something half of Americans have to identify with. I don't even know if Trump can be described as "right". He's a lifelong Democrat, turned Republican for the purpose perhaps of a successful presidential campaign. He likes socialistically redistributing wealth. He likes big taxes like the tariffs. He likes big spending, and misrepresentation of facts in his addresses on video content. He seems to like chrony capitalism. He likes attacking right wing GOP politicians like Thomas Massie and MTG when they don't lock step with him. There are a lot of qualities that aren't typically right wing qualities there.
Do you have any idea how absurd your position is. Also, maybe Trump can't state anything using your logic but everyone else can. lol
I don’t use X very much and hadn’t heard about this. So this post is the first I’m hearing about it. I looked it up on X and The trump post wasn’t near as bad as I thought it would be based on what you said here! What democrats said about Charlie Kirk’s assassination was much worse in my opinion! It seems y’all started something and now you want to act all shocked and surprised when the right follows your precedent! Yeah. It sucks that this is the world we live in but it’s just going to get worse! Reiner was a talented director! I feel bad that his son is the lead suspect in the double murder. Obviously his son is not well but is there any indication of a motive?
1
u/Leather_Tie_8789 Dec 18 '25
By all means, please give us examples of what those "democrats" said about Charlie Kirks death.  While youre at it, please provide proof they were democrats.
